Maybe it's just not available to me because I'm in Canada, but I'm not seeing a Kindle version at that link:
Maybe I'm misunderstanding but isn't the image of the product page you posted showing the Kindle version?
Yes, you're right, I did overlook

OK, good. It was not clear from your initial post. You seemed completely mystified as to why you might have been winning this book and you suspected the email might not be legit. I would say your scam detection meter is set a bit too sensitively. You might want to ratchet it back a notch. [:-)] And congrats for winning! BTW, are you any relation to
So, am I reading this right? Did Luther actually use the word "evangelical" in his time?
Yes, he did. But he meant something different by it than what it means now. This might be helpful to you, from Gene Edward Veith Jr., Spirituality of the Cross : The Way of the First Evangelicals . It's not in Logos but I have it in

  • Re: Luther's first use of the word "evangelical"
So Luther's term was more of a baulk against Calvin and his reformed theology and not a label signifying the difference between todays so called Liberal theology and what we would call evangelicalism?
I don't think he was using that term to balk at Calvin and his reformed theology. Calvin (1509-1565) came slightly after

  • Re: If this is of any use - a list of untagged Bibles in my collection

Thanks for doing all that work. I found it useful in that it pointed out some translations by famous people that I own but had hidden when I'd indiscriminately hidden the entire Library of Early English History (it was cluttering my library and slowing things down, and I didn't want to take the time to pick out volumes of possible interest in it). Amusing

  • SUGGESTION: "The Life of Prayer" by Baron Friedrich von Hügel

A friend just recommended this book. She wrote, "After a wildly fulfilling, soul-expanding, and community nourishing weekend, this little book is blowing up my brain." • Re: Vulgar title on prepub

Thanks y'all. I wasn't going to buy this, but my curiosity was piqued. I'm not bothered by the word bad***. It's a common slang word meaning "ultra cool" or "tough guy". It's been in use since the 1950s. It does not bring to mind the human backside at all to me, so I don't consider it a vulgar word. Whether the derivation originally came from the three

Try these three Google Images searches: "revelation 6" chart "revelation 6" seals "revelation 6" horses You'd be a better judge, looking through those search hits, of which pictures or charts are "good" and which befit your particular theological leanings.

Might want to include the title/author of the book and/or link to it on Logos.com and/or link to the thread in question where you promised the review so people could go look up the book title. People seeing this post without knowing the context will have no idea what you're reviewing.
Thank you Rosie. I don’t have that option in my drop down
You have to join the Faithlife group Logos User Photos to see it. There are only 85 members, and it hasn't been active in 3 years. So it's not likely this is going to be a very useful repository of photos. But there at least are several hundred photos in
