  • How do I find the who/where/when, etc.?

Could someone guide me as to how I find who wrote a book of the Bible, when it was written, to whom it was written, where, etc.? Or at least tell me which Logos library book contains such information. I have the Scholar's Library for Mac (obviously, lol). Thank you all so much! God bless! Manny

  • Resource icon!?!?!

I will make this short and sweet. I'm using Logos for Mac 1.2.2 but I posted here because I downloaded a resource (and paid for it) yesterday from Logos.com and it downloaded as "Unknown" (w/o quotes). I went ahead and renamed it manually to conform to the standard file naming convention that it should've been or at least what it said in the web site

  • Searching by pronouns?

I know there is a way to search for he, she, this, they, etc. instead of the thing or person itself but cannot for the life of me remember how and I think it's with the Clause Search but I don't think I'm doing it right. What I'm trying to do is to search the NT for references of demons/Satan in regards to or near prayer, fasting, or warfare but my

  • Re: Search on women

Thanks for the tip, Kiyah. I tried <Person A Woman> and can see this could be a good start. Made me realize that I would like to know how to narrow it down something like "God talking to/about woman/women" or "Jesus talking to/about woman/women" in specific. I didn't think about that when I first posted this question. Would you know how I could

  • Search on women

Hello, everyone! I can't figure out for the life of me how to search the Bible in Logos for things said to or about women. I know I can do a search for the word "woman" or use some kind of wildcard (wom?n) and the like, but can't figure the syntax things like: Talking TO a woman/women Talking ABOUT a woman/women A woman talking/doing (SHE does/did X

I should be able to because I've had logos 6 full features. All I did was add on the logos 7 basic features but was told I can still do everything my Logos 6 full can do.

  • Lost the Logos 4 Indexer!!

Maybe I'm wording it wrong but I don't see the Indexing icon on the menu bar anymore and I don't know how to get it back. I don't know what I did and it never really seemed to finish indexing either , but I understand it's a pre-release. Can someone tell me how to get it back? Thank you! Manny

  • Searching on

Hello all, I have been tasked in my church to bring a teaching about something not so common. It's a group of small groups leaders that I am to teach and was told to teach something along the lines of loyalty to God and ministry than to friends and family. At this point I'm thinking of going to Google for resources on this strange theme but would really

Ahhh, thank you!! Yes, that's what I was looking for "tags." That should do it! And yes, It was verse 19 that I meant, I'm at work so was typing as fast as I could. Thanks for understanding. Thanks a million for your help. God bless!

  • Basic Search problem

Hi All, I'm very confused about the Basic Search in my Logos 5. The Search Helps gives you example on syntax you can use but when I use it I don't get the desired results. Here's an example: If I search All Bible Text in New Testament in ESV for the single word "judge" (without quotes), the results returns passages with the words "judgement", "judged
