  • Re: Prayer List on iPad???

I recently found out that prayer lists are available in the FaithLife application but, so far, I find that application far from intuitive and it is not all that easy to use on iPad / iPhone. I drove myself half mad trying to add my prayer points on the iPad following instructions off the net only to find that it simply did not work in the ios app. When

Alabama24 Thanks for your reply. At least I know that I'm not going mad - the feature is not yet there on iPad / iPhone. What made me think that it would be was that the notes say "on all devices with your account." Am I right to hope that this means that Logos is working on getting it out to iDevices?

  • Re: Prayer List on iPad???

I notice in the release notes for 5.0b that it says Prayer Lists Implemented synchronization for prayer schedules on prayers owned by other users in shared Prayer Lists. Changing a prayer schedule will synchronize the change across all devices with your account. The prayer schedule will not be changed for other users sharing the Prayer List. However

Ditto. I really enjoy using Logos on both iPad and iPhone and find it really handy to keep up with my devotional reading wherever I am. The one thing I have been hanging out for (and which I understood would not be far behind reading plans) is syncing my prayer list to my iDevices. Please, please Logos - can this be added soon? May the Lord bless you

Hmmm ... just found out that this issue is being worked on here ( http://community.logos.com/forums/t/44520.aspx?PageIndex=2 ) so I'll just wait to see what happens. (Just added a note to General Notes on my PC and it did replicate to my iPhone quite quickly but one created on the iPhone has not yet appeared - which fits with what is described on the

It seems that one of my notes files is not currently syncing to my iPhone. I have two notes files that I use: General Notes and Translation Notes. The iPhone app crashed earlier (a few hours ago) when I was trying to add a note to "General Notes" and it has not synced either way with my desktop since. It may also be that I made changes at both ends

Hadn't read Bob's post properly and wondered why reading plans weren't syncing yet, but now I understand that these will follow ... soon I hope. But I have been learning about the new mobile highlighting / notes and am very impressed so far with the almost instantaneous syncing between my iPhone and (Windows 7) desktop. Makes me very optimistic about

Tried marking my daily reading plan on desktop. Did not update iPhone. When I subsequently updated the iPhone, it created a new plan on the desktop. Guess I'll stick to updating on the iPhone (in my current "blessed" state) till sync v2 is up and running.

[quote user="Michael Willemse"]Why does my ESV plan work well yet sync is not picking up my reading plan for the 2011 NIV? [quote user="alabama24"]I don't know. One question, however. When you say that the ESV plan is "working well," do you mean that you can mark "read" on your iPad and minutes later it is "marked read" on your desktop computer? It

I am a bit confused about what is happening with reading plans ... maybe you'd like to comment on this Alabama? I am using logos (beta update stream) on a windows 7 (x64) system. I am currently on 4.5 Beta 5 (4.50.0.1336) on my desktop which, according to the release notes, contains sync 2 - the panacea to all our syncing ills . I also have an iPhone

I am currently signed up with the Logos beta program. I notice that sync 2 is part of the 4.5 Beta 1 (4.50.0.1142) release. Since this update loaded, my iPhone has only synced to the desktop once - it was actually better before the update. Is this because I will need an update to the iPhone app (currently version 1.81.)? Is there a beta program for

  • Re: Problem syncing reading plans

Just to put in a good word for Logos ... Since my reading plan appeared on my iPhone three weeks ago, it has worked well. The only hiccup I have had was when I was out of the country for three days and had data roaming turned off. When I returned, it created a duplicate plan on my desktop. However the two have been staying in sync with updates to the

I notice that you say you have deleted it from the ribbon on your home page, but have you deleted the reading plan itself? (File, right-click on the completed reading plan and select delete.) My understanding is that, if you do not delete the plan itself, it will not be deleted from your iPhone / iPad. Having said that, I've not actually tested whether

My reading plan (ESV in a year in four sections: OT, Pss, Provs, NT) finally appeared on my iPhone yesterday (took just over a week). Given my experience in the last few weeks, I expect that, from time to time, there will be trouble syncing and duplicate reading plans will end up being created on my desktop - but I can live with that for now. I'm just

Sorry! Yes it was "A Textual Commentary on the Greek New Testament" that I meant. It shows in Logos with the iPhone logo but it doesn't appear in my library on the iPhone (although I have it on my desktop). Is it possible that this is because it is linked to UBS 4 / NA27 which is not currently available on iPhone?

I am having the same issue as described in this and several other threads. I create a new reading plan on my desktop (L4 (beta) on Windows 7) using the ESV, which I have loaded on my iPhone. However this plan does not show up on my iPhone. Like some other users, it did work for a while but periodically it would give me a message saying that it was unable

Jeremy These options weren't around a year ago so the good folk at Logos have been listening. I set up my Bible reading plan for this year yesterday and found the new options made the process much simpler. Thank you to the Logos team!
