• Re: Get a 14-volume commentary set for $30?! No way! You're kidding, right?

I bid the max bid on every single CP offering there is...and I am quite sure if everyone who frequents the forums did the same, we would likely get each and every item for the lowest price listed on each resource. Let's get something straight...no one twisted Logos's collective arm and forced them to make a CP page...it's exists as it does because Logos

Either that or alternatively listing the packages that items are part of...there was so much in Portfolio that I have on more than one occasion purchased things I already had in my library. Of course, doing both would be even better!

Yes...and one that works, too. Not one that continues searching long after the button is clicked.

LOL, I think it's pretty funny that you suggested the NET letter charts as a remedy for the Learning Hebrew/Greek videos. Both of the charts have significant mistakes. I noticed this a week or two ago. Just making another quick scan of them I see: Aleph : the symbol used is ` when it should be ' -- a small point (I made a punny!) Kaf, Mem, Nun, Peh

Rosie, I simply do just as I do when online...because when making the report and being offline there is a message that says offline reports will be sent once an online connection is made. The problem is, I just don't have any confirmation that such is actually happening. I wish I had 100 hours each day so I could devote some of them to the kind of offline

...report to drink. When I'm offline, which is most of the time at present, I still come across a multitude of typos in virtually every book I have...occasionally even in bibles. No biggy...just send in a typo report and it will be fixed--except... I never get any confirmation that the "offline typo" mechanism actually works. If I'm online, I always

Your conclusions are correct. Humans do not have an immortal human soul. Nothing in scripture indicates they do...that is primarily a Greek infusion from the so-called Early Church Fathers.
David, Thank you so much for your post, it is refreshing! I get so tired of this "greek mindset" drivel
Dear David Paul, You have posted enough to know that it is offensive to the members of this Logos Community, and against the Logos Forum Guidelines to post this kind of theological drivel. You seem to want to deliberately upset many humble, trusting believing Brothers and Sisters. You know better or at least should
I am reading a book on the work of the Holy Spirit and came across a discussion of the meaning of "breath of life" in Genesis 2:7 . It states that "breath of life" cannot mean an immortal human soul because the same words have been used in Genesis 1:30 to describe animals and birds. I don't want to start a theological debate

  • Mishna & Midrash in Logos Format?

I've seen this request before...think I even piggybacked on a request some time back...but can we get at least the Mishna and the Midrash available in Logos format? I'm aware of the Neusner version of the Mishna, but it is a contemporary translation and has its detractors. I'm thinking something a little more "classic". This stuff is all obviously in

  • Using L4 graphics in printed books

Even though this question is about L4 graphics/charts/illustrations, I've put it in General because it seems like the thing to do. My question is: What is the policy about using L4 graphics (like a family tree, for instance) in a book that will be published for profit? I heard Bob say something about commissioning the graphics for Logos at Camp Logos

There's a lot more to the aleph-taw than Heiser and some others think, particularly in G1.1. But I suspect he also thinks Isa. 28 is really about baby talk. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I just found numerous offerings of J. Hastings (more than I new existed!) and I am thrilled. I would hope everyone who reads this post would sign on for the max bid for each item...his stuff has always impressed me. Touche', Dan. Good stuff... Years ago, I used to sell computers when the 286 was the common fair and the power users stretched up and snagged a 386...sometimes with a WHOLE MEGABYTE of RAM! Anyway, this mild and unassuming fellow ambled in, and he told me he was a pastor. He said he had put off buying a computer for a long time, mainly because of the
