• Re: Anchor Bible Dictionary
It would be convenient, but since you can open the resources anyway with a few clicks it doesn't seem like it should be very high on their "To Do" list. (Sorry, I have to lobby for my suggestions to get done first.)
Copleston and Reid?? LOL...gimme a break!

Not to mention the Ugaritic and Akkadian references available in the Portfolio! I bought those primarily to work as linkage references in resources like ABD. Logos, please give ABD a makeover! Thanks.

  • Re: Prioritized List Suggestion

Isn't the Prefer List essentially a "set it and forget it" menu? Not that I'm begrudging those who want this feature, but I asked for a similar feature for the Library (something I open up ALL THE TIME and am invariably overwhelmed by)...essentially a Folders and Sub-folders option to "physically manage" the absurdity that is 2,500 resources. I don

  • Re: Two Suggestions: Highlighting

My main suggestion regarding the drop down menu is that the highlighting choices be moved to the top of the menu, ABOVE the solid colors for sure. Many of us have used the highlighting "pens" for years and are expecting those to port over from L3. Since they have been our mark-up choice for so long, they should be at the top so that we don't have to

  • Hastings Resources

I remember many years ago seeing Hastings Encyclopedia of Religion go on PrePub and it just sat there. That truly astonished me, because I have never come across a work so jam packed with interesting and useful material. Hastings also wrote a Dictionary, and it likewise is has great articles with excellent information. They were produced around the

  • Re: Discounts on Zondervan's Logos editions for Pradis users

I completely agree that we all should be able to get along, especially if we are claiming to be in His Body. Yet different people have different perspectives, and sometimes looking at a given issue from another's perspective may lead us to change our own. And sometimes not. Whatever the case, we are told to "judge all things" and do so without passing

  • Anchor Bible Dictionary

Something I noticed about the Anchor dictionary is that the only live hotlinks in it are Bible verses. Even when it mentions other resources that I have in my Library, those links are dead. That really surprised me, and it is disappointing. One of the main reasons I bought Portfolio and other resources is not so much that I plan to read them individually

This kind of stuff is tiresome. Daniel, you are probably a swell guy. If we knew each other, we might be friends...who knows? But your conception of "Christian" sounds a lot more like Mr. Rodgers than it does Moses, Elijah, or Y'shua. Eph. 4:29 certifies my comment, it doesn't preclude it. Here's why... People are complaining about being roughed up

Getting back to the issue at hand... I don't have any Z titles, though I have "wanted" EBC for some time. But I also wanted a TON of Logos titles...and want is about as far as it was going to go. I just don't have multiple thou$ands to drop on a handful of titles I may look at only occasionally. Z's bundle for $2k? Never going to happen here...and I

  • Re: highlighting, underlining, and text colors

At the very least, I hope that the highlighting options in 4 will have all the same options as 3 had, and that they will port over. Any other options are gravy, but the more options in this regard the better, IMO. I use the highlighting and other markup options liberally in 3 (which I showed Bob at Camp Logos) and I often wish I had a larger palette

Something just occurred to me...in the next couple of weeks, our in 3 are supposed to port over to 4...and I will be waiting with baited breath to see just how that is handled? Question: will our highlighting also port as well? I kind of always grouped the two things together in my mind (things I've added to 3), but I realize that Logos may not see
