Getting back to the issue at hand... I don't have any Z titles, though I have "wanted" EBC for some time. But I also wanted a TON of Logos titles...and want is about as far as it was going to go. I just don't have multiple thou$ands to drop on a handful of titles I may look at only occasionally. Z's bundle for $2k? Never going to happen here...and I

  • Re: highlighting, underlining, and text colors

At the very least, I hope that the highlighting options in 4 will have all the same options as 3 had, and that they will port over. Any other options are gravy, but the more options in this regard the better, IMO. I use the highlighting and other markup options liberally in 3 (which I showed Bob at Camp Logos) and I often wish I had a larger palette

  • Odd response...

Am I the only one who thinks it is strange and annoying that the side-scrolling contents bar changes font size right along with the text in the reading window? I want the scroll bar font to be smallish so that it needs to be scrolled less...I don't "read" that window in a normal sense (I do look at it, of course) so a smaller font is not just fine,

Something just occurred to me...in the next couple of weeks, our in 3 are supposed to port over to 4...and I will be waiting with baited breath to see just how that is handled? Question: will our highlighting also port as well? I kind of always grouped the two things together in my mind (things I've added to 3), but I realize that Logos may not see

  • Re: Wrong time for collections?

[quote user="Praiser"] I don't have a problem with the concept of the collections, it just needs to be a bit more user friendly. When I am looking at a long list of which I want to go through and sort, I have not been able to select more than one book at a time to move, and when I move the book it goes back to the top of the list so I have to scroll

  • Re: Wrong time for collections?

In this case I certainly agree...there should have been a basic set of pre-loaded collections. 3 had a similar thing where you had to go through and link things together that should have been part of the "out of the box" structure. I'm still struggling with the fact that I have multi-volume series that don't have series tags. Bob did tell me that these

I think it would be more accurate to say it "can" appear on both computers...but I don't see why it ought to be.

I had Gold when 4 was sprung (I can't exactly say announced, can I?) and I bought Portfolio on day one in a heart beat...and felt I was getting a steal. I laugh about it every time I think about it...but I've also bought plenty of pre-pubs and have thousands of dollars worth "in the channel". I'm not rich by any means...Logos products account for the

I just noticed that doing an author view of my Library gives 3 different listings for Robert Morey: Morey, Robert a. Morey, Robert, A. Morey, Robert A. A fix is obviously in order. Thanks.

[quote user="Ryan Schatz"] [quote user="David Paul"] Question: I have elsewhere asked for the ability to "physically" sort my library into folders and subfolders. I find the fact I have to face a list of 2,500 line items in my library daunting. Being able to reduce that with folders by half or more would do wonders for me (kind of like the Favorites

  • Re: Library?

Hi, and thanks for replying. My original question remains...does all of the "collections" creating actually affect the appearance of my Library? Or does it only affect searching? I realize I could try it first and see, but I am leery of wading into water holes unless I know how deep they get. My pressing concern is reducing the number of lines in my

  • Re: Questionable Resource Types

The Sheffield/T&T Clark Bible Study series needs a Series marker. Ditto Ancient Egyptian Literature v.1-3 Not sure if this is the place, but the Anchor Dictionary only has working links for Bible verses. References to items in my library don't link. That is surprising, and not in a good way. Question: I have elsewhere asked for the ability to "physically

  • Issue #XXXXXXXXXXX

I realize everyone is in love w/ 4...but I'm not. It may have plenty of capability, but it is loaded with extraneous crap and despite obvious effort to give it plenty of options, it rarely seems to do what I want, in the way I want. There are some things that may potentially become useful to me, but getting to that point is going to be arduous and take

Although the collections mechanism may work in terms of creating a single collection, and even multiple single collections, does it have the option of creating collections of collections? In other words, subfolders? I want, for instance, to group multivolume commentaries, and then put them in a group of commentaries, and possible in a group of just

I have ADD, and one of my coping mechnisms is to simply eliminate extraneous material from my sight (because if it is in my field of vision, it is effectively dragging me down). That is why I want the ability to put my books in folders (requested elsewhere), because it reduces what I am forced to look at and thus potentially become distracted by. I
