I did a search for this topic and didn't find anything, so I'm sorry if someone else has posted on this topic. I am requesting the ability to download books on the Chrome/Chromium Biblia app. In the last year I made the jump to Linux, and I rarely boot into windows on my computers now (basically just for Logos and if I play a game that's only functional

That seemed to work. Thx 4 the suggestion! Even though my laptop is dead, I did manage to back it up not too long before it died, so I think I have all of the resources again (it I am missing any now, I think it is only a couple).

Thanks Richard. I might get a HD caddy for my old laptop HD since it doesn't seem to be the defective part (due to the process of elimintation I think it might be circuit board related?), and then I could connect it via USB for the scan. In Christ, Jason

Regarding Platinum, it really depends on how you use Logos. I needed the Pillar Commentary for college, so I just decided to pay a little extra and get the Plantinum upgrade instead of only getting the Pillar Commentary by itself. I thought there were enough other interesting resources to justify it - and the upgrade seemed to provide a lot of bang

Just for the record, I tried it again, and no dice.

That seems odd that because Logos cannot sell it, that a person who has already purchased it cannot put it on a new computer install from the FTP site. Since I cannot get my old laptop to boot up again, I may not be able to recover these resources that I had already purchased, and thought would be available via download from the Logos servers. In Christ

Jon, I don't think this is the case because the missing resources where in the library tab, & I don't think help files/etc... are listed in there. In Christ, Jason

Yeah, I tried that when I first noticed the missing resources, but it didn't add anything. Thanx 4 the suggestion though. Maybe I'll give one more shot... In Christ, Jason

I installed Logos 4 on a 2nd computer, since my primary laptop may have met a premature demise last night :-( After installing it it seemed that most of the resources were there, but I was missing about 20 of the resources that I had on my "dead" computer. I don't know the exact resources that are missing yet, but I noticed that the total number of

Oh yeah, and one more suggestion. How about offering a Philosophia Christi journal collection. I began subscribing to this journal in paper form a little over a year ago, but it would be great have all of the past issues from 1999 to the present available in electronic format. In paper it is $20.00 per issue, but maybe in electronic format it could

Ahhh, so it doesn't appear to be available because of licensing and software development issues. Thanx for the lead Joe. I guess I'll just have to keep lugging around my laptop for a while longer :o)

I'm using a Palm OS 5.x device. I don't have a data package with internet access on my phone contract, so I was wondering if there is a way that I can put some of these resources on my Palm smartphone by syncing w/ my computer instead of downloading it directly using the phone's internet connection? I have Logos version 4 on my laptop. If not I'll just

Wouldn't quotation marks work for that?

Philosophical Foundations for a Christian Worldview by Wm Lane Craig and J.P. Moreland The Devil's Delusion by David Berlinski (even thought he's not a Christian -- yet, but a secular Jew). In fact I wouldn't mind seeing a Berlinski package including some of his mathematical stuff (i.e. A Tour of the Calculus ), as well as his I.D. and other scientific

I agree! I also have more of an interest in the philosophical side of Christian scholarship, so I would like to see more from scholars like Craig, Plantinga, etc... I have suggested in another post that I would love to see a Logos version of The Blackwell Companion to Natural Theology edited by Craig and Moreland. I have been wanting to buy this in

Is there a way to set the footnotes to 10 pt font? They have been importing into my Word document in 12 pt font, but my footnotes are supposed to be 10 for my seminary papers. I already set it to Turabian and Times New Roman through the tools menu, but couldn't find a font size setting, and wasn't sure if there was one or not. In Christ, Jason

Ok, so I was looking for an "I love Logos 4" and this was the closest thread I could find in short time. I had only used 3 for about a week, so that's probably why I have been able to acclimate to 4 so quickly. Of course I still have much to learn to be a "power user," but I guess since I don't have to re-learn anything I'm a little more positive with

John. Ok, I have a lot more of the titles now. Here's what I did, but can't guarantee that it will work for you. I double clicked on the little blue Logos icon in the task bar, and it closed the Logos software, and it showed a small window in the middle of my desktop saying something to the effect of: your library is being configured/updated/whatever

Every new title in Gold that is...

Rich, in my case it's every "new" title except the Holman Apologetics Study Bible.
