  • Re: Hyperlinking Clippings To Notes

You may be interested in Mark Barnes' video series on sermon preparation . While the videos show the use of Logos 4 for sermon prep, Mark offers an excellant way to manage notes & clippings using favorites. I highly recommend these videos. The ideas are excellent and will provide a great starting point for tailoring Logos 4 for your own use. Hopefully

  • My top 10 requests for the Logos on the iphone

    1. Keep improving offline capability (this is critical since most of the time the bandwidth is too little to support online use). 2. Keep improving offline capability 3. Get NASB to work offline 4. Bible resources need the verse chooser while offline 5. Bible references in offline books should open in an offline Bible while offline 6. Split screen capability

  • Re: Why is it OliveTree is offering offline viewing of the New American Commentary and the Logos bible app has no options at all?

[quote user="Bohuslav Wojnar"] We are not speaking here about the same thing. I know Olive Tree and Mantis. I bought some stuff from them before Logos came with the iPhone application. Show me one more Bible Study system you can use BOTH on your PC and on your iPhone (and hopefully on other platforms). I don't know any other but Logos. And that is the

  • Re: Thank you for offline reading!

Yea! Yea!! Yea!!! Without offline reading, the iphone app was useless for me. Unless I am in a WiFi hotspot, the bandwidth is just too limited. I found myself reading LESS and using the competition's Bible reader (which is still a wonderful app, but doesn't give me access to all of my Logos resources). Thank you! Thank you for fixing the Logos iPhone

  • ESV morphology changed from L3

Am I correct that the morphology tagging system used in the NT of the ESV Reverse Interlinear of L4 is now Logos Morphology when in L3 it was Swanson Morphology? If so, why the change?

  • Re: Newbies!!

I don't consider my self a newbie although I haven't posted often. I've been using Logos since version 2.0 (came with diskettes), starting with Level 2. I upgraded to Scholar's Library when version 3 came out. Now I've upgraded to Platinum with version 4. I've purchased a number of other resources as well for a total of 1389 resources in v4 (about 100

I don't understand this lack of links to other resources since I just finished watching a Logos created video demonstrating just that. What happened?

  • Logos 4 Comparison PDF is inaccurate

I noticed today that the downloadable PDF version of the L4 comparison chart has at least one mistake. Calvin's Institutes is listed as only being included in Scholar's Library Platinum & Portfolio, while the comparison chart on the website indicates inclusion in all versions of Scholar's Library. It's very difficult to know how many other errors exist

  • Re: PRA's for L4?

I am gratified to hear that PRA's are being considered for L4. While I'm not a heavy L3 user like many on this forum, I consider PRA's one of the best ways to direct and organize my Bible research. Not all books are equally valuable (and each of us have our own priority lists). This along with customizable right-click keylinks are critical to those

  • Re: Feature Request

My most desired feature is ability to store at least some of my books on the iphone instead of frequently waiting for a slow download of the requested page. Additionally, there are plenty of times where I am out of range of any communication when I would very much like to continue my reading. This in fact, is one of the primary reasons I recently purchased
