  • Re: Hebrew accents in Copy Bible Verse

Using Logos 6, I am pasting into Word/Pages with SBL Hebrew. The anomaly is present within Logos before it is even copied, however. Also, if attempting to reproduce, the anomaly appears to be only occurring with when an Atnach occurs under an Aleph with a Qametz. Try looking at Psalm 119:114 underneat the word אתה. Thanks!

  • Hebrew accents in Copy Bible Verse

I have noticed that whenever I use Copy Bible Verse to copy Hebrew text to any word processor (Word and Pages, primarily) if an atnach (◌ָ֑) accent appears underneath an aleph (א), especially when the vowel is qametz, in the Hebrew text (I tried with BHS/WHM, BHS SESB 2.0 and LHB) it appears instead as a double qametz (◌ָָ). Cf. below/attached. This

  • Copy Bible Verse and Hebrew Fonts on Mac

The primary reason for my writing today has to do with the way that some vowels/accents are rendered in Copy Bible Verse using Hebrew (in LHB, BHS, and exporting to Word and Pages). I thought I was having a problem with Pages (trying it out as an alternative because of Word's Hebrew problem) because when I pasted the Hebrew text of Gen 2:4, the atnach

  • Send resource location to Logos on iOS

I am a seminary student, and as such, I have not been very active in the forums, so please point me in the right direction if this topic has already been addressed. I use Logos Desktop, but find that when I actually need to read a resource (not just reference a line or two), the iPad is much more conducive. Here is a feature request: On each resource

  • New Feature: Send reference to device

I love the power of Logos on Mac, but sometimes it is just easier to read on my iPad. I am currently working on a research paper for seminary and am coming across good resources and thought about a new feature that I believe would prove to be beneficial. In the menu of a resource in Logos (desktop) are options such as columns, show footnotes on page

  • Reading Plan and Emphasis Markup

Reading Plan : I would like the option to make a reading plan but not be confined to one translation over another. If I have a reading plan associated with the Bible, I would like to be able to start in ESV, for instance, but be able to "mark read" in any other version. I may start in the KJV and continue in another version and in order to keep my reading

  • Re: Offline Exegesis / Reverse Interlinear

Alright, I have verified that I can, in fact, look up the Strong's reference while offline using NASB. This is GREAT! However... I can only look up the Strong's info if I am clicking on a reference. It is a pain, though it "works." Because this workaround functions, it should not be difficult for Logos to make this a feature rather than a "bug." Of

  • Re: Offline Exegesis / Reverse Interlinear

I agree about the hardware considerations, but as a temporary solution, providing reverse interlinear with inline Strong's numbers would be great! I could at least then manually look up the number in a Strong's numbered resource... It seems it would just involve creating it as a separate resource (i.e. KJV vs. KJV Reverse Internlinear). I don't even

Thank you! This may be a route that I pursue, I just don't want to have to buy yet another computer! I've got a Mac Mini, MacBook Pro 15" and an iPad at home. I have not decided if I am going to sell the Mini and MBP or let family hang on to them. Though an Air would be a great solution, I still would love to see the feature added to the iPad. I am

  • Offline Exegesis / Reverse Interlinear

I will be going to a third-world country for an extended period of time where internet and power are not guaranteed where I will be staying, but internet cafés may be within a reasonable distance and solar panels might be accessible for charging. I love that I can download resources for offline viewing and utilize notes and highlighting. What I really

  • Logos 64 bit

This may have been covered in another post, but I was unable to find it. Does Logos plan on going to 64 bit on Mac? I do not know the nuances of 32 vs 64 bit and how it handles memory, but was under the impression that 32 bit apps can only utilize a certain portion of memory (say 4GB?). If Logos were a 64 bit, would that allow for greater utilization

  • Re: What Bible translation are missing from Logos that should be in Logos?

I would love to see the Aramaic English New Testament The Aramaic Text sheds much light on the Hebraic context of the New Testament. For instance, it clarifies the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew. Joseph (in Matt 1:16) is not the husband of Mary, but the guardian or father (Heb. givrah) of Mary. This is a different word used of Joseph (her husband; Heb

I am no Logos expert. However, after clicking the app to open it, hold Command and it will open up this window . You can choose to re-login and you may want to select "use blank layout." If this doesn't work, then continue to pursue answers. I hope this helps! (sorry if it doesn't!) Stephen

  • Updated to Beta from Stable Release

I am a Logos 4 user on Mac (Lion) and I had been interested in testing with the Beta. I had considered creating another user on my Mac or trying the RC3 on my wife's Mac.
