• Re: Keyboard Shortcut for Pronouncing Words in Bible Text

to be fair I did go back and edit that out MJ. I know the more experienced technical users want their new rabbit trails...I just wish more was obviously being done to the basic structure of the program...say beyond obvious cosmetic changes. Wouldnt it be exciting to open up 9.x and be stunned by updated easier functionality. I upgraded to Gold Baptist

i commend and salute everyone who took the time to post in here. p.s. If you know anyone looking for a full time part assistant pastor, a recent graduate of Luther Rice Seminary, please find a way to reach me offline. I am 58 but eager to serve and teachable...and of course have great tools in Logos Baptist Gold with many great commentaries. Just to
I don't think there’s a shortcut for invoking the Pronounce feature in the biblical text. I searched and couldn’t find one. If I am correct, I would like to request this feature. I use the Pronounce feature a lot, but currently, I have to right-click on the word and then select Pronounce from the menu. [/quote

  • Fellow Baptists particularly pastors what do you recommend as a basic library?

I just got the Gold Baptist even this late in the 8.x history of Logos but wondered what pastors and my fellow Baptists might consider a basic library for an expositional sometimes preacher who favors easy practical commentaries - one volume and sets? What are your go to resources say if you are a preaching assistant pastor who helps conduct Bible studies
The Kindle version is available today so I guess that's not been delayed by the publisher. The dead tree version will be available mid-November it would appear. Must admit I was looking forward to it downloading in Logos today.
I think its coming

Smart reply I thank you for. I continue to feel Logos needs to hire some people who try to remember what it was like to be a newbie seeking Christian who may have gotten their first copy of this great and powerful software. Imho Logos has totally and completely lost that sense of wonder and confusion...and should always retain it going forward. They

I clicked on this ad under my explore main screen (you know the one with all the ads if you chose to display them that seem to feature Heiser too much) and never found the free ESV Audio Bible did you?

  • Suggestion: Zondervan NIV Quest Study Bible

Why isn't this bible available in Notes?: NIV, Quest Study Bible, Leathersoft, Black, Thumb Indexed, Comfort Print: The Only Q and A Study Bible I see the notes (or an extract from them) is available as an ebook but that's it. Weird, right? I wonder if Zondervan just refused to offer the rights up or something? I do know this exists below though...

I would love a english pronunciation guide that uses sound to share with readers and users how a word can be correctly pronounced. I know we have Greek and Hebrew sound files as I have seen them but why not what I call plain english pronunciations. Imagine reading the Bible publicly and being able to pronounce some of those names and locations with
