The wiki has a clear explanation on how to create your own customized reading plan. Go to this page http://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plans and look for the heading Manually customised reading plans

  • Re: Logos 4 and New iPad Question

You are able to load some of your resources locally onto your iPad. For local resources you don't need to be online in order to use them.

  • Re: Is there a new improvement for Logos use with the new ipad?

The change I'm looking forward too is called mirroring, which means anything on the display can be sent out to another video display device. I don't know if the Logos app was able to do that before, but any iPad app will on the iPad 2 (using the HDMI output accessory cable).

  • Re: Shouldn't we let Logos Know....

Wondering what Logos has to say on the issue? Here is what my copy of Logos says: Romans 14:3–12 (ESV) 3 Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. 4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands
One of the things that I like about the latest build is that after you receive a resources update you can press F5 to refresh the home page and it will let you know what was updated.
I didn't know that. Perhaps that's explained in the new help?

  • Re: Sync Reading Plans to Iphone

2 things... First, are you sure your computer is set to automatically sync with the logos mothership? In the upper right next to layouts do you see some arrows or do you see an icon (I think it's a yellow triangle when it's not syncing?). If you have the icon, then go into setting and set "Use Internet" to Yes and restart. If you have the arrows, click

  • Re: Question for pastors whose churches use the NIV

I heard recently that we have better comprehension when we only read or only hear. We hear at a different pace than we read, so our mind is fighting to reconcile the difference.

The only one that I created far is this one: ~LButton & RButton::MouseClick, Middle ~RButton & LButton::MouseClick, Middle It lets me fake a middle click on a 2 button mouse by pressing the left and right buttons. I wasn't able to figure out how to do that with my mouse driver. I really haven't thought about anything more complex, but your post has

  • MoProc 2.0

I just got a Morris Proctor upgrade on my Logos homepage. The new version seems to run a bit slower and the UI is a bit more dated, but it seems to be providing the same level of content, so I'm pleased with it.

I just bought the MacArthur bundle. His Luke commentary is in pre-pub. Will I get that when it's done or am I going to have to buy it separately?

You will need to purchase the book from Logos to use it in Logos. I think it was a worthwhile purchase.
Yes, Mind Manager is what I use too from time to time. Since most people, according to the research and class I have had indicates most North Americans learn visually and retrieve information from their brain visually, it makes eminent sense to utilize this graphical tool to teach spiritual truths and lessons. So, I too, support
Yes!!! Even as a layperson, I agree. I think that he is better at articulating the Christian Faith better than anyone else that I know!
I read a couple chapters from Horton over the past few days and I think he's a bit too heady for me. I've found Grudem to be a lot more accessible as a layman. That being said,

Do you know how to link resources? On both resources, click on the arrow underneath the book icon on the upper right of the panel. Select the same letter for both panels next to Link Set. This will link the resources and cause them to always show the same reference.

I don't imagine that Logos wants to get into the hardware market. They have an app for the iPad. I really can't imagine there would be enough demand for a Logos branded reader.
As far as I know the 84 NIV's are still being sold. I visited Zondervan's site today and saw several 84 NIV's but no 2011 ones! (I just looked at Bibles, assuming that the 2011 NIV would be pushed. It wasn't in my browsing.) I don't think the "Coke Classic" is going to phased out by the "New Coke" (am I showing my age
