John, I do think that making it easier to make dynamic collections would help. the search string method is just too abstract for a lot of people.
Still, I think the problem is going to be with Abingdon/Cokesbury being willing to enter into a publishing agreement with Logos. After a conversation with one of the higer-ups at Abingdon/Cokesbury it became clear to me that they make a lot more money off their current digital partner per unit than they can get from Logos
It's not the language that's the problem, it's the metadata. Logos will have to retag the book as a calendar devotional. Until they do that it will not show up on the home page as a devotional. It's unfortunate.
To All - I was able to add 5 of the devotionals that I read to my Homepage by changing priorities.
I would love to know if there are some resources that were originally packaged and now no longer are available for example BAGD 2 nd edition. I thought about trying to hunt down some of these old packages to see if I could find some and buy them so I could have those no longer published by Logos resources.
Yes
I'm confused on whether the Thru the Bible Commentary is included in the McGee Lifeworks or not. At first I thought it was, and that Logos should quit selling the more expensive, since they are selling a better and cheaper alternative as the Lifeworks. But at second thought, I'm wondering if the Thru the Bible Commentary Unabridged
Frustrated people have often tried most of the initial suggestions that we will offer. Their experience trumps our experience (it's no consolation that I don't have crashes or good tech support experience to someone who can't use Logos). Defending Logos vigorously often backfires, suddenly we become valid targets of their
Forgive me, but I hung a sign in the development area: "Code first, optimize later." We're feature driven. Then we go back and optimize the features that are too slow. Some of that does (and did) happen before we ship, and other things wait for feedback. And yet others wait to become non-issues as Moore's Law make them less

Yo'all know there is another Bible software which has that already.
Two off the wall ideas generated by a mind tired from writing and just a bit of a cold . . . 1. Logos should make the images created by a shelf view exportable so we can project them onto walls to simulate our libraries in real space. 2. Someone (Logos or a third party) should go into the book shell business. The convenience

What is the standard type information that one should put in a profile? Also I would like to try to find Logos users in my local area that would be interested in sharing how they use the software by meeting in groups at churches to discuss tips, resource ratings, etc.
If you used the Sermon File addin in Libronix it created a book file stored in your resource folder. When you installed Logos 4 it pulled that book file into its resource folder. However, you will not be able to add to your sermons in Logos 4.
