Actually, This is using downloaded Bibles... Unless, that is, I am doing something wrong. The Bible has an airplane on it so I am assuming it is downloaded.

  • iPhone App 1.5.1 on 3G 4.2.1 delay of 20 seconds to see Bible...

The latest version of the iPhone app is worse than the previous version on my iPhone 3G... The last app took 10 seconds to load a bible verse, this one takes 20 seconds. It does allow for 20 page turns though before it reloads... Great for reading forwrds, but if you go back one page, it takes another 20 seconds... Is anyone else experiencing this kind
Not quite true. The likelihood of it happening without a program update is negligible, and even if it did happen, the sync icon gives a visual indicating that syncing is taking place, so it wouldn't happen without your knowledge.
You assume that I am observant and vigilant enough to pay attention to that detail..

Donnie, thanks for your suggestions, all are great and creative, technically I appreciated the use of the dyndns method... :). However they cripple the rest of the software in the process. The best possible option is still for logos to fix this properly. One of the difficulties is that logos could start using another server at any time and several of

Thanks, I am a OneNote junkie, but I love having my notes in my bible program, and the little indications that I have a note attached with a passage... Logos 3 for me...

I would like to add my 2c to this topic. I do not like having any personal data stored on anyone elses' servers. The reasons are my own and do not require my explanation to you in this thread. I have been trying to decide whether to update to L4 or not, and I guess this just made the decision for me. Let me simply say that I was shocked to find that

SSL only states whether my data is encrypted on the way to their servers. Is my data encrypted ON their servers? Can anyone - ANYONE but me read this data? Some of my prayer list data is highly sensitive. I can only imagine someone like Chuck Colson - prayer lists of sensitive government representatives, sync'd to Logos, and some young nerd at Logos

??? SSL is becomming completely common these days. Most email services are switching to ssl for tansmission of emails between the client (outlook) and the server (your email provider). Soon all large email providers will transmit the email between them using ssl. This is an amazing jump forward.... ALL businesses use SSL or better encryption for their
