Hi Stephen, Hopefully someone will reply with some nice screenshots with arrows, but until then here's how it works. Open your L4 library tab. Select the "resource information" icon so the resource pane is open next to the list of titles. Inside the resource pane, click on the title. You can edit the title or create an aka title. Blessings!

Yep.

Michael, Jesus answered a similar question (Luke 13:1-5); his response is startling and worth considering.

I'm experiencing the same problems described above...frustrating. So, I manually downloaded the files, scanned the folder, and now have all 15 resources. As you might expect, 14 of them are lbxlls files and only The History of Christian Doctrines is logos4. Ran "update now" and then "update resources"; no updates, no indexing, nothing. Ideas?
-
...and the resources are readable, but apparently cannot be searched.
-
I don't think it actually indexed...it started, calculating time, etc then the icon disappeared as if it was done. Apparently not.
-
Mine don't show up. I'm hesitant to waste my time re-indexing because these are not the correct files..

Good suggestion, I'd buy too!

24 hours, no replies. Sadly I must pat myself on the back and say, "Good suggestion DHG, I'm with you on that!"

I was only joking Rosie!

I just finished 13+ hours of indexing. Everything works. It's now searchable, and it appears that all the Berkhof resources are now in the correct format (logos4).
-
I removed them 2 ways. I selected more than one title in my library and then used the "clear tags" button. I also tried selecting a single title, highlighting the tag itself, and then deleteing it by leaving the field blank. Is that what you were asking?
-
Nope, I wasn't using a beta version; I've never installed one. I could be wrong, but I suspect it happened while I was tinkering. I remember selecting all my resources and clearing the tags I was experimenting with. Logos crashed. I restarted and didn't notice any problems. Much later (probably a couple days) I noticed the residual tags in my search

BTW, the catalog.db is 40.2MB.

I know this thread is getting old but I thought I'd report on Berkhof. In order to update Berkof's Subjects & Outlines to logos4 format, I had to hide the resource, restart, unhide, restart...now it's indexing. The "update resources" command would not pick it up for some reason. Anyhow, I now have all 15 resources, they are all searchable, and they

I tagged some resources in my library, and later I changed my mind and removed them. I just noticed that they still show up as search options on my search tab. Of course they don't function, but they do take up space and clutter my options list. How can I clear them?
-
Dave, Thanks for the quick reply. I deleted the tags several days ago...is something happening in the next 6 hours that hasn't happened in past few days?
-
Thanks for the help. I deleted all my library tags. So, as you'd expect, when I sort by tags, none are listed. However, on my search tab I still see the following tags: mytag:Calvin's Commentaries mytag:Harmonies of the Gospels mytag:Works by A.W. Pink mytag:Works by Alexander MacLaren mytag:Works by C.H. Spurgeon mytag:Works by Jonathan Edwards I tried
