And, while I'm here on the forum page, in the past when I've tried to use Proclaim remote on my phone or tablet, I'll lose the "connection.." Any quick tips on how to make sure that won't happen anymore?
Are you using the local control where you input your computer's IP address into your iPad?
Our Proclaim remote will only show slide content, if you want to also see your preaching transcript
Sean, Can you clarify what you mean by "If you want to see your preaching transcript..."? The attached pic shows that my notes come from Sermon Builder into Proclaim and are viewable in the Proclaim Remote

To keep the car analogy relevant - I used to drive a Mitsubishi Precis. I added an after-market cruise control to that car. Mitsubishi no longer makes that model of a car. I was later given a free Buick. Would it be reasonable for me to expect GM to provide a cruise control for my new Buick since I had purchased one for my Mitsubishi? GM MAY offer attractive

CSB - This is the translation I am journaling in my personal quiet time - personal spiritual formation is highest priority. 2. ESV - The translation I use for preaching (accuracy in translation philosophy and accessibility

see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/185519.aspx and https://community.logos.com/forums/t/187873.aspx The ARM-based processor that runs 32-bit Win10 applications is NOT supported by Logos at this time (as of Jan 2020) with no plans to do so. Perhaps with the demand for Apple silicon (that moves away from Intel chips), Logos will write for some of
did you just do this informally?
Done VERY informally . I started with the BestCommentaries Top 5, then looked for Denver and TIU (TEDS) recommendations that were not in the BC top5 but are part of my Logos Library.
but BestCommentaries is a composite ranking based on the reviewer list (which includes Tim Challies, Ligonier, Denver Seminar). See here for the full list of reviewers: https://www.bestcommentaries.com/reviewers/ Thus, using Best Commentaries & [ Tim Challies, Ligonier, Denver seminary] will result in overweighting [ Tim Challies
Is there a way to browse existing groups so I can see what's available?
It has been so long, I had to poke around to figure this out. I typed "logos" into the search at the TOP of the page, rather than the side column and it provided quite a list to browse.
I did something similar, but not as good, some time ago - tagging the top five (or so) of my commentaries for each book as Best commentaries and then creating a section on a custom guide for Best Commentaries. Now, for whichever book I am looking at, I get a section containing my top commentaries (but as I am relying on

As I recall past years, each day has a new deal, then at the end all of them were available.

Forgive the redundancy, I just posted on the Proclaim Faithlife group, but also want to bring attention to FaithlifeTV developers. I don't know if this is a Proclaim issue or a FaithlifeTV issue. When I complete my sermon prep I go live with Proclaim and do a QUICK run through of my sermon slides. This creates a "placeholder" with the sermon number

In this thread users discuss the "updating library" bar that appears and moves all subsequent line. A similar annoyance happens in the Sermon Slide editor. I click in the Title field before the word "Coming" when I click, a FONT bar appears which moves all the other fields down so that my cursor is no longer in the same location as when I clicked .
Nothing on their site to imply that Site Map for The GRAMCORD Institute website
I don't believe it has been "shut down" but notice the copyright date on the website (2010), I don't believe is has received any additional development in the last decade.
NT commentaries/series based on or that use the MT
If I recall correctly, John MacArthur remained committed to the TR manuscript tradition while many other commentators were moving toward NASB and NIV. He may be a North American Evangelical who is strongly committed to word-for-word accuracy. Since my comment is based
