why would I want to "upgrade" to Logos 5 BL when I have L5 Platinum? Is that a tech glitch?
You'd be adding Biblical Languages to Platinum. There are probably some resources in BL that are not in Platinum. You can send license file to Logos and they will be able to unlock books. This disc is a little different than my Logos 2.0 disc, so I am not sure if it contains the Logos 2

When I got my copy of catholic Library Logos had to manually unlock it and at that time in 2009 the libronix file was not on Logos servers (mac Libronix never support LLS files) and Phil Gones generously made a copy of his file available for me to download from his personal server
It is unlikely that you will be able to install it unless you are using XP or older, if you call Logos and give them the number of it they can unlock anything you own off the disc. I think your problem is Windows 7. If I recall correctly, Windows XP is the latest OS that can be used to install Logos 2. I wonder if XP mode in Windows 7 would allow you to install the program? This might be a solution, or you could install on a friend's computer provided they have Windows XP or earlier.
