I recently downloaded the Free ESV Resource library from http://esv.org/freesoftware I noticed this library uses the libronix library, is there a way to move these resources into Logos 4? I also noticed them mentioned on the wiki at http://wiki.logos.com/Free_Logos_Books but did not see how to get them into Logos 4. [
I would be glad to help you with info about UNISA. In short, I can't say enough good about my experience. I would highly recommend it. Because of the exchange rate (currently 12 cents on the dollar) it is incredibly cheap. You pay by the year which at the current rate is about $1,400 including everything. This is a research
I pastor a church and am finishing a DTh in Practical Theology from the University of South Africa.
Kevin, I have been looking at doctoral programs (primarily D.Min. programs in expository preaching), and was wondering what you thought of the DTh in Practical Theology from the University of South Africa? I perused

I just remembered that it was Scot McKnight who said that Michaels on John was his 1st choice. See http://www.patheos.com/blogs/jesuscreed/2010/10/10/the-gospel-of-john-a-new-commentary/

In the real world, J. Ramsey Michaels on John gets very very high reviews.
In that case, I would be interested in some links to the real world. IOW, who besides Bestcommentaries provides such reviews?
Just to be clear, I don't own Michaels on John. The next time I work through
I checked out http://bestcommentaries.com to see if it had any helpful information on the new volumes. The J. Ramsey Michaels volume on John had disappointing reviews. Gareth Lee Cockerill's volume on Hebrews doesn't have any reviews yet. And Scot McKnight's volume on James isn't even up on the site yet.
This only
This thread is a perfect example of how the forums were designed to work. I have been helped greatly by all the informative answers posted. I have also been helped by those wiser than myself who asked good questions I did not know enough to even ask. The comparison spreadsheets are always a help to me. Many thanks to every

Hopefully, this means that the German Bible Society will be unbundling their products in the future.
They did! At least in part.
I am glad for those who will benefit from this unbundling. Hopefully, everything in the SESB will be unbundled in the future. We may just be waiting on licensing
:) Gotta represent. But it sure is a small world sometimes. :) Doing well here. In in Vienna now working on learning German, which is why I would love to get a few current German Bible translations without buying the whole SESB package.
I know, right?
If only they'd unbundle this!
I really think this is coming. See my above post.
What do you think this means?
there are two options for you: further use of the SESB based on Libronix 3 or moving to Logos 4."
To me that sounds like they may be releasing L4-only editions of the SESB contents, just not as a package. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking....

Also, there is some good news for SESB owners that I failed to mention. The German Bible Society stated: " The WIVU-database for syntactic search functions in the BHS is currently not working with Logos 4. The German Bible Society is working on a solution, which will be submitted via automatic update

Today, I received an email from the German Bible Society stating that Logos will end official support of L3 this March. While this was not news to me, the German Bible Society also made this statement: " Since there will be no further SESB-versions following , there are two options for you: further use of the SESB based on Libronix 3 or moving to Logos

Danker, the D in BDAG, just passed away. In Rod Decker's Obit ( http://ntresources.com/blog/?p=1492 ), he says of Danker's Concise Lexicon: "This was not an abridgment of BDAG, but a new work (though obviously dependent in many ways on the larger lexicon). I thank God for Prof. Danker’s contribution to biblical studies. No beginning student should be

I am noticing strange behavior with the UBS4 w/Apparatus. It does not open my prioritized lexicon BDAG (even when "Send Hyperlinks Here" is checked on BDAG) during the use of the "Look Up" feature. Instead, it usually opens the Lexham Analytical Lexicon to the GNT. The NA27 works just fine, and opens BDAG as expected. Any suggestions?
Newbie here...I searched for old threads but couldn't turn up anything. Here's my question. Can you actually install the Libronix platform on a Mac OS without L4? I am looking to run Translator's Workplace (SIL) on my MBA. Many thanks in advance. Wayne
Wayne, How do you plan to run the Translator's Workplace on your MBA
