Sigh. Robert, you make my point for me very well. I watched your screencast - and it would have excluded the other 27 resources that belonged in my collection very nicely. As I said, i built the rule progressively to get the resources I wanted. Maybe yours worked for you - it wouldn't work for me

But here's the real point, and the BIG DEAL: What the heck are a bunch of people who are learning to use a new Bible Study tool doing, having to wrangle about the best, most efficient, accurate way to write a database query, in what looks suspiciously like a form SQL? This whole idea is LOONEY TUNES
Jim D, I am essentially with you on your reflections. To me the ideal of dynamic collections are nice, the implementation of them is tedious and suspect for guys like me. But I NEED collections to narrow down fields of study to search within. And I wonder why Logos couldn't use any one of a number of current library classification

I wonder - those of us who migrated from 3.x are already on-board with Logos, so to speak. But how will someone who's completely new to the product react to the current state of things? I really hope that this doesn't backfire on Logos. • Bible Display Format Queston

Hi - Is there a way to configure Bibles so they display at 1 verse per display line, instead of in paragraphs? I poked around in the help files, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks, Jim D.
Other than searching, there is not good way. I would personally like to have by books stacked by type (i.e. Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries,).
I agree. As Logos keeps adding more books (yay!), it's going to get pretty tedious doing all that scrolling. Typing in words to filter the list is OK if you know what
As much as I would love to order Pre-Pub the large ticket items such as the Zond. Collection, I am limited by the time when my funds are released. Is there a way we could have a payment plan option for pre-pubs as well. Students such as myself are able to be much more flexible in our ordering that way. I will again take
Please do not abandon Strong's Numbers. Not everyone has the time, patients, or ability to compare foreign language words, but most anyone can compare numbers quickly. They are also quick links to other books content on the same topic. I have used them for many years, and would sure miss them.
This describes me perfectly

I thought the link was satirical - until I clicked on the link to the Logos web product. • New Improved Upgrade Discount Calculator - possibly not?

After reading the blog post, I decided to fire up the updated Upgrade Discounter to see if it was a little easier to understand. A bit of background: I already purchased an upgrade from Scholar's 3 to Scholar's 4. It seemed like a good deal, and truthfully the dollars seemed pretty small. So this time just for the sake of comparison, I went ahead with

I'm using a beta version of UltraMon 64-bit right now, and it

  • Bible Speed Speech?

Gotta love the humble typo. From Morris Proctor's "Search While Typing" Blog Post: "If you were a Libronix 3 user before moving up to Logos 4 you may have enjoyed a feature called Bible Speed Speech . . ." I wonder if this feature will help cut down on long-winded preaching? Or maybe there could be a "Talk Through the Bible in an Hour" class. I didn

Well, I took the plunge. The installation was painless - about the only thing that was unexpected was that I needed an adapter bracket to get the 2.5" drive to fit in a 3.5" drive bay. No big deal. There was no documentation of any use with the SSD, but that really wasn't an issue. It installs and sets up just like any other SATA hard drive. There are
