Yes! Thumbs up! Thanks you so so so much for returning this much loved (and sorely missed for a few months) feature. It's the little (seemingly insignificant) UI and UX things that make the whole 'feel' of Logos fantastic. It also shows that you at times listen to your users! Thanks again.
Phil - its low on the list, but importing custom images/photos in canvas would probably be the one that would be most used by me
Amen to that! And also tables and images in notes! My other main issue with Logos 8 features is the limited number of indent/heirarchy levels in workflow - I can't use it for 'my' workflow

  • Re: New Feature: Cloud Resources

Yes!! Thanks for this option. This is a fantastic addition - this one feature makes 2.8 worth the price - one I can tick off my wish list. Now just waiting for tables and graphics in notes and canvas and additional levels of indent in Workflows! Thanks

Indeed, I concur! We NEED tables and diagrams in Canvas (and also NOTES). Please consider this!

  • Explore the Book - Sidlow Baxter (and other works) now available

Hi all, I think I may have missed the announcement and I don't know how long the works by J. Sidlow Baxter have been in ebooks, but they are there now! Explore the Book is a classic, but quite expensive: https://ebooks.faithlife.com/products/167522 Do a search for Sidlow Baxter if you are interested in his other (cheaper!) works. Just a heads up for
It's still on the list to do, but there have been higher priority issues that have kept us busy.
I, too, had been eagerly expecting and awaiting these seemingly simple widgets. After the launch of Logos 8, it seemed the most common complaint (together with setting the preferred bible) to fix this omission

  • Re: Canvas - SVG

Pieter - they look great - Oh to be so talented! I tend to download SVG graphics and that's what I have in mind. I was only thinking of custom SVG graphics to put in and nothing to do with highlighting styles. I agree Canvas is great and am looking forward to what comes, but I thought I'd get in early with the request for user imported graphics. James

  • Canvas - SVG

Hi, I would love images (PNG) in Canvas - but I know how FL have some aversion to images (maybe due to server space???) It would be less space consuming and really helpful to allow custom SVGs in Canvas. Thay way, I could design, say, a custom shape (eg a star) in Inkscape (or other similar program) and use it for text highlighting or children's bulletin

  • Could you do a SAVE20 for Faithlife ebboks?

Could you do a SAVE20 for Faithlife ebooks? Got $100 lined up in my cart, typed the SAVE20 in coupon code which it accepted, but didn't change the price, so assume it is not for faithlife ebooks. Looking forward to the time when logos and faithlife books websites, search, filtering becomes unified and useful. James

Really upset about Spurgeon. Sad when I got the 'Bible in 7 Acts' email too. I, too, hope for more Spurgeon (maybe in other bundles?)
Sorry but this post is by one who has very little understanding of the software market and doesn't work in the field.
Sorry to disappoint - I actually do work in the field and have done for many years - now in the education sector but in the past have advised multi-national companies. • Time for reflection and re-evaluation

Context There has been a lot of disquiet related to the Faithlife Connect situation. I think this happened because I’m not sure that people actually knew or understood they were renting. People who rent shouldn’t complain when prices go up - that has always been the case with rent and the risk you choose to take. In the long term, renters

  • Re: Logos Now and Faithlife Connect: The Why

I think your view of the future is wrong - the software industry (desktop) is not going to be rental (like tv has become) - many years later most people can only give 2 examples of software that has gone that way (Adobe and MS Office) and those 2 exist because they are practically monopolies in their sectors and so can force this on their users.
we've had lots of complaints in the past when commentaries have accidentally slipped through to Vyrso where don't have the functionality necessary to make them (1) show up in the commentaries guide section, (2) be navigable by Bible reference, (3) be able to join a link set with a Bible, etc. It's a very subpar experience
