Could you do a SAVE20 for Faithlife ebooks? Got $100 lined up in my cart, typed the SAVE20 in coupon code which it accepted, but didn't change the price, so assume it is not for faithlife ebooks. Looking forward to the time when logos and faithlife books websites, search, filtering becomes unified and useful. James

Really upset about Spurgeon. Sad when I got the 'Bible in 7 Acts' email too. I, too, hope for more Spurgeon (maybe in other bundles?)

  • Time for reflection and re-evaluation

Context There has been a lot of disquiet related to the Faithlife Connect situation. I think this happened because I’m not sure that people actually knew or understood they were renting. People who rent shouldn’t complain when prices go up - that has always been the case with rent and the risk you choose to take. In the long term, renters

  • Re: Logos Now and Faithlife Connect: The Why

I think your view of the future is wrong - the software industry (desktop) is not going to be rental (like tv has become) - many years later most people can only give 2 examples of software that has gone that way (Adobe and MS Office) and those 2 exist because they are practically monopolies in their sectors and so can force this on their users.
we've had lots of complaints in the past when commentaries have accidentally slipped through to Vyrso where don't have the functionality necessary to make them (1) show up in the commentaries guide section, (2) be navigable by Bible reference, (3) be able to join a link set with a Bible, etc. It's a very subpar experience
A single tap on the screen should dismiss the bottom bar and reveal more of the pop up.
Thanks Mike, that seems to do it, although I find the single tap to remove the bar needs to be done first. Once the pop-up has 'popped up' the single tap will dismiss the pop-up! Thanks for your help. Have a great Christmas yourself

  • BUG: split screen pop-up in new Logos App

Hi, I am using the latest app (as at 22nd Dec 2017) on iPhone 6S (iOS 11.2.1). I have a split-screen with bible and study notes. When I click on some links in the study notes (lower half), the resulting Pop-up is not fully visible, obscured by the lower button bar, and it is not scrollable. Sceenshot attached for clarity:
Do you ever print it out and work on it with a pen or pencil?
This is an area that would be great to do within Logos. As far back as 2008, Mark Barnes used a set of videos to explain how he prepared a sermon. The particular step, which I try to reproduce is described - in Mark's inimitable way - in the first 5 minutes

Mobile App: Apple Watch Just been fortunate enough to have an Apple Watch purchased for me. Unfortunately there appears to be no Logos app available for it (it does have Olive Tree, You Version etc etc, but no Logos). Hence a new wish would be to have an Apple Watch compatible app. Thanks

  • Re: Requesting reading plan generation improvements

I think repetition is important too...I'm not sure currently I can set up Logos Reading Plan to (for example): 1. Read a Psalm everyday forever (i.e. after 150 loop back to Ps 1) 2. Read Proverbs each day for a month (based on day of month) 3. Read a 'church of Revelation' each day of week (Sun->Sat) and then repeat (ad infinitum) 4. Read Jonathan
