• Re: Mobile courses and memory on my laptop

Philip, Mobile Ed courses (and all video resources we offer) stream by default. As with other Logos resources you can choose to download the resource (both the text and video resources) to your hard drive for offline use. If you're viewing these videos on a PC I believe each video file is progressively downloaded while streaming and is cached on your

  • Re: NT221: Display glitch

Rosie, our team is currently looking into this issue. We've noticed that sometimes a video will display differently on a Mac than a PC. We're trying to get to the bottom of why this happens so that we can deliver a consistent cross platform experience. This is what the same lesson listed above currently looks like on my Mac: Our courses are designed

  • Re: NEW: BI100 Learn to Study the Bible, by Darrell Bock

David, I've reviewed several of these lessons in the app and it does look like there are discrepancies in the audio levels between the screencasts and Dr. Bock's lecture material. I will have our team look into this first thing Monday morning. We will try to correct it as soon as possible and update the resource. Thank you for alerting us to this problem

  • Re: Audio file for Courses

@Stephen, as of right now we do not have audio only resources for any of our Mobile Ed courses. Which course(s) are you seeing this appear in? Is this a feature you would use frequently with your Mobile Ed courseware if it were available to you?

  • Re: LT151 Logos Academic Training

Martin, we currently offer many different video bit rates (quality levels) for playback but no audio only (though we're working on it!). For now the Logos desktop and mobile apps will stream the highest quality video that your internet connection will allow. If streaming isn't an option for you the desktop application allows you to download all of the

  • Re: OT101 Segment 72: Wrong Video

We've found the issue with this video and have made the appropriate changes. It will take a while for the corrected video to be republished and pushed out as an update but this is a high priority for us. We'll update this thread as soon as this issue is resolved. Thanks for reporting this!

Trevor, we don't currently have a completion certificate but we'd love to hear your thoughts on this matter. This topic has been discussed a lot on our forums in this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/80575.aspx , please feel free to add your voice to the discussion!

  • Re: just wondering about how this works

Mathew, as Keith pointed out you can download all resources from the cloud to take them with you on desktop clients. However, this feature is not supported on mobile devices due to the file size limitation. A Mobile Ed resource works just like any other Logos resource you would license. Once you purchase a course it is yours to keep forever. This includes

  • Re: How do I get the video to fill the panel?

Lindsay, it is not currently possible to scale the video as seen on the Mobile Ed page. The images that you are referring to on the landing page are for illustration only. Video for Mobile Ed is shot and delivered in an HD widescreen format (1920x1080). In most cases it is better to view the videos in this format (and not zoomed in to fill the whole

  • How do you take notes when you use m.Ed?

We're always looking for ways to improve our software, especially when it comes to new resource types and products like Mobile Education. As I've been working through some of our material I've found several different ways of taking notes to reinforce my learning. Some techniques tend to work better than others. Are you taking notes in Logos as you work

  • Re: OT101 Introducing Old testament: Leviticus

Josh, our team is working hard to ensure that the information in these courses are as accurate as possible. When there is an error in the lecture itself, such as the one noted above, we do our best to correct it. However, it is not always possible to correct the video itself. In these rare cases we make sure the transcript accurately reflects the intended

Update: the source of this error has been identified and corrected. We will be releasing the updated version soon. For now, I have verified that the current transcript for Segment 76 accurately reflects the new version.
The audio from Segment 75 Timeline Overview is has been mixed in with the visuals from Segment 76 Video.
Thanks for catching this. I will make sure this gets in front of one of our editors and is corrected as soon as possible.

Thanks for catching this mistake. The transcript was not updated to match the revised video. We've identified two other occurrences of this happening within the Bible and Doctrine Foundations Bundle and are working at correcting the mistakes. The resource will be updated with the correct transcripts soon.
