• Re: Is there any way to import notes?

Copying verse by verse would take an incredible amount of time. There are a lot of notes . I guess I'll pull them into a Personal Book, unless I find a lot of free time I don't have at the moment...

That's one feature from Accordance I miss. Notes not only had an indicator by each verse, they also compiled into a commentary like document that could easily be set to scroll with the text. Very useful and easy to edit/update.

  • Is Font Scaling Broken in 4.5?

I noticed that the font on notes, passage guide, etc was appearing very small so I went into preferences and changed the default font size to 100%. That make the notes, passage guide, etc appear normal but now the text of my books and Bibles is really big. How can I get everything to be roughly the same font size? I don't see anyway to specify font

  • BUG - In 4.5 Bible and Books Font scales larger and passage guide, notes, compare etc has much smaller fonts

The title says it all. After the upgrade to 4.5, my Bibles and Resources have very large fonts compared to other panes like the passage guide, etc. All tabs have the font slider at the same setting and font size in preferences is set to 80%. See attached screenshot.

  • Re: BUG - In 4.5 cannot create link to multiple verses that are not sequential

Yes, I know that links aren't created automatically on Mac. The issue is that no hyperlink is created when I go through the process to create the link manually.

I installed the SR and it's still a problem. I also tried switching fonts to Helvetica and back and the problem still exists. I've also switched between 100% and 80% and the problem is still there. I'm going to try to call support today.

Just curious if the Mac version of Logos will support Apple's new fullscreen app mode any time soon.

  • Re: Showing Septuagint in a Tagged Text

It doesn't look like I have that parallel. I really haven't added anything to my library other than Scholar's silver. I see now that the Hebrew strong's numbers are included with the Septuagint. That helps quite a bit, I was just hoping for a quick solution that would let you quickly look at the Septuagint the way you can the Hebrew text under the English
And do you know what is interesting, Charles? For all of our present day trends towards "community", for all of our social networking, for all of our Internet "relationships"... every study out there has indicated that people are more and more fragmented, more and more isolated, less and less connected, and more and more lonely

  • Re: Can I use Clause Search to Find Locations?

Thank you. I'm looking to do a more generic search that identifies every time the prophets mention a geographic location. In other words, not just search for "place:Jerusalem" but "place:any". Is that possible? "Any Place" doesn't do what I want. It just finds the word "place."
I'm really wondering if this is not a generational issue. I'm conservative when it comes to my information being shared or published and yet I do not have any issue at all with Logos using my data within the cloud. I understand both sides of the argument very well, I'm just wondering if this is more of a perception issue than
If you have information / data / comments that would cause enormous damage if disclosed, or risk your freedom in an oppressive country, do not put it on a computer. I don't mean don't put it in Logos, I mean don't put it in digital form, on any device, anywhere. There's no adequate digital protection, and you should plan

  • How do I set the Style used by Replace with Passage?

The title says it all. I'm using the Replace with Passage service to insert verses into a Word doc, but need it to use the style I use for all my Scripture citations.

Also, what happens if you send the verse or passage to a word document directly from the CBV using your custom style?
Everything is fine when I use the CBV tool from Logos. • Re: How to Restore Highlighter Styles
Just to clarify - you will have to reapply the style one at a time. Then you might suggest that Logos have a "No highlight" style that will allow you to reverse your action in one go!
I figured, so I already changed them all one at a time. It makes zero sense to me to have a highlight style called "no highlight."
I am not familiar with this command. Where is it located?
It's on option on the right click menu on an individual highlighter style. Can someone tell me what I did? I don't even know what I did so I don't know how to undo it. I thought it would undo it if I re-saved the style, but my highlights with that color have

I'm a little confused. How can I change the highlight style in the note files? I still see the highlights in my note file (screenshot attached), but I don't see any way to restore them to the styling I want.

  • How to Restore Highlighter Styles

I was playing around with some highlighter styles and I chose "restyle annotations" to see what it would do. After I did that my highlights, which were orange, disappeared. I tried updating the style to see if that would make them come back, but they haven't. They are still in the notes file, so far as I can tell, but they are now essentially invisible
