  • Re: Toolbar Button question

Ok Tommy, I switch it then. Thank you for your guidance! I thought if it wasn't running as administrator there were issues running updates and indexing.

  • Re: Toolbar Button question

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. In Windows 8.1 it appears one cannot drag an icon to the Toolbar as per Vista. So, no success yet. Tommy, I am running it as 'Administrator'.

  • Toolbar Button question

I upgraded to a new modest desktop computer which runs Windows 8.1 and installed Logos 5. It runs fine except for the one-click buttons to open my Microsoft Word or Excel programs. Clicking on them does nothing now. Subsequently, I have deleted them altogether. Anyone have an idea how I can "re-install" these options? I couldn't find any hints via a

  • Re: Copy Bible Verses from Android app

Hi Brad, I have found the Copy function does work on my Acer A500 tablet. When I select text in a resource and tap copy, a dialogue box pops up momentarily saying 'Copied to clipboard'. I use the Documents To Go app, and in a Word type document, I hit the Options menu, then Edit and Paste from there. I don't have experience with any other document apps

That was great information Dave! Thank you. I followed that through and Logos is back running and I learned a couple important bonus lessons. Dave

  • Unable to start Logos

Greetings friends, This is the first time ever that I've had a problem updating/starting Logos5. With the last update procedure my anti-virus software prevented (and deleted I believe) LogosIndexer.exe(config?). Actually Logos came up and appeared normal although indexing didn't begin to take place. When I re-started the computer some while later Logos

  • Re: Bug or program idiosyncrasy?

Thank you Mike! That makes sense to me now. I will often leave a bood open on the desktop and follow later on the tablet. Keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to the added features you will be introducing!

  • Bug or program idiosyncrasy?

I really enjoy having a portion of my library on my Android tablet (Acer A500). It's great to get back into a book with a spare moment or two. However, when I re-open Logos Bible app, go to particular passage to continue reading where I last left off, it comes to a location several chapters or pages previous. It is a bit annoying to have to page forward

  • Re: Logos Android App Development Seems to Have Slowed to a Crawl

Since there are many customers using Android (and potentially many more to come) it would be encouraging to hear from Logos from time to time regarding the status of current project(s) development. Knowing that there is something happening would be positive. Communication diminishes a lot of negativity. Now asking the design team for release dates is

  • Re: Which Tablet To Purchase

I second Bill's coments. My tablet is 8gb version and have a couple dozen resources downloaded and still plenty of room to spare. I was somewhat concerned about readability but this has turned out to be a non-issue at all. I am very pleased with the A500 and the off-line portability it brings! Some more Logos features for the Android would be nice.

  • Shopping cart > checkout problem

I am sorry to bother the forum with my small problem. I wish to download the free resource of McCheyne and the Leaders Library upgrade. They show in the 'Shopping Cart' but I seem unable to proceed from there. What am i missing to be able to download? Thank you kindly for your advice.

  • Open in a floating window...

I often open a resource as a floating window. For comfortably reading however, i always want to resize the window. Now this can be done by 'mousing' the edges and dragging the window to a suitable location (such that some other text may still be readable). I am wondering if the software guru's could make the floating window pop up in a certain size

And, find somebody or someplace where you have high-speed internet access that you can setup your computer! If you are limited to dial-up speed or a very limited bandwidth, startup and then leave on vacation. It took me 3 days to download the Basic Bible Study package. :(

Alan, I can relate to your sentiments regarding the canines and other pets - been there, done that too. But I really appreciate your comments as to what our focus in heaven will be. It's all about Him, not about me (us). The unthinkable goodnesses that we yet do not know will be all to the glory of God and our Savior. Some of these reads above are certainly
