  • Resources won't download to ipad mobil app. I cannot report the issue.

Resources that I had previously tried to download were stuck with the info screen for each resource showing "Downloading." I have 4 Gb of free space on the ipad. I could not report the problem because after typing my email through the Help link, the "send" link remained greyed out." I uninstalled the Logos app, and reinstalled. I can now download resources

  • Re: Are the Faithlife Connect web pages down?

Ok, I cleared the cache again. After that, I am getting something for the faithlife connect pages (rather than simply blank white). And, previous to this, I have been successful in selecting and placing my order for my monthly books, if I am patient and go through the process multiple times. But even now, when I can see the different pages, the formatting

I spoke too soon. I still can't load https://connect.faithlife.com/ I even tried clearing cookies, history and other stuff, and tried a different browser, but it won't load. If I do get a page from FC to load, it looks incorrectly formated.

I rebooted my computer and all seems well now. Sometimes you just need to turn it all off! LOL.

  • Are the Faithlife Connect web pages down?

All I'm getting in most cases are blank, or incorrectly loaded pages from most anything to do with FC. Is anyone else having the same problem?

  • Re: BUG?: Why didn't this search work?

That worked for me! Thanks. I could click to a different type of search and back again, and the search string and results remained (e.g., Basic to Bible and back to Basic). (I use a PC). I appreciate the tip!

Closing the Search tab did the trick! Thanks so much. There's another one I can delete from my "problems" list. (It would be nice to be able to keep my search results though, so I don't have to keep rerunning it.)

  • Re: BUG?: Why didn't this search work?

Well, that looks like something I don't want to have to learn. I just did a Search Everything with "heading:"psalms of solomon"" and that worked great. (I thought I had done that before and it didn't work). However, doing that brings up a different problem I've experienced. When I see Pseudepigrapha listed in the search results and go to it, the entire

  • Re: BUG?: Why didn't this search work?

Ok, that worked! However, that is not a very easy way to find "Psalms of Solomon" in my library. I have to know first of all, that it is there (I frequently don't know what I have). In your demo, I had to go to it to find it, so how is that helpful?

  • Re: BUG?: Why didn't this search work?

Following your instructions, I do not get the same search string you do. (I can't figure out how to copy the image from my computer, or I would paste it) My search string is just the verse I highlighted, all in quotes.

  • BUG: Certain Journals do not seem to be completely tagged, so they don't show up in searches

The Passage Guide => Journals does not show all of my relevant resources. I Input 1 Timothy 2:12, and looked at what I had under "Journals." I clicked on "Search All Journals" at the bottom which opened a new window. None of my Trinity Journals showed up, even though I know that there are at least two Trinity journals containing three articles that

  • BUG?: Why didn't this search work?

Did a Basic Search in Everything for "Psalms of Solomon." I own Charlesworth's Old Testament Pseudepigrapha (OTP1 and OTP2) as well as Charles' Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament, both of which have the full text. The search results landed on preliminary material about the text, but did not guide me straight to the text (e.g., to the title). Why would

I own Logos 6, but have a subscription to FL Connect Essentials (no libr). Not sure where to post it. And if the problem is on searches, should it be under a thread for tagging?

  • Where and How to Report Problems with Logos?

I'm building up a list of problems I've encountered with Logos as I've been learning how to make fuller use of the features, and getting to know my library. Most problems, I think, have to do with resources not being tagged. How and where should I report the problems? The lack of tagging is making me lose confidence in Logos because an extensive library

I received a call from Don in Customer Service. I did receive bad info from a sales rep four weeks ago, but Don explained the situation well, and made things right for me. I appreciate the personal touch from him.

  • Re: New Feature: Lemma in Passage (Dataset)

This is a slightly different problem, but since you mentioned "tagging" I'll ask it here: When I use the Passage Guide my journals do not show all of my relevant resources. E.g., I Input 1 Timothy 2:12, and looked at what I had under "Journals." I clicked on "Search All Journals" at the bottom which opened a new window. None of my Trinity Journals showed

So, based on your question, I changed my preferred Bibles to ESV, NASB and NIV84, and then Lemma in Passage works for me! Is there a list somewhere of which preferred Bibles it is limited to? There is a problem however. I thought Lemma in Passage would find the lemma in any of my resources. However, I noticed right away that it only pulls info from

NET NA27 w/Gramcord ESV Lemma in Passage DOES work through Bible Word Study, but not through Exegetical or Passage Guide.

[quote user="Matthew"] When I view the Exegetical Guide or Passage Guide and scroll down to Lemma In Passage, I get no results and a "Failed to load" message. When I view the Bible Word Study, it works fine. It doesn't matter if it's a passage from the Old or New Testament. Any thoughts as to what's wrong or if I'm doing something wrong? Also, what
