  • How to download all?

I just (finally!) updated to Logos 5, and I'd like to be able to download all the new resources to my iPhone. However, despite the instructions (see below) at the Logos page, I can't get a "Download All" option to appear when I pull down on the list of books in the Library view - I can only get it to appear when I do a Search for at least one character

Not in Logos, but the best beginner's Greek course to me is GREEK TO ME by J. Lyle and Cullen I. K. Story: http://www.greektome.biz/resources.php My only criticism is that it uses the Erasmian pronunciation (I'm a fan of Randall Buth's Koine pronunciation), but you will learn 2x the vocabulary and most of the same grammar rules as Mounce, but in 2/3

I think they inadvertently cut-and-pasted the JPS blurb for the print edition without editing it for the Logos notes-and-articles-only version.

None of my mobile resources I checked show the "mobile" icon under the book on the product page. There used to be an icon of a smartphone, but I don't see it anymore. So how does one know if a resource has mobile rights or not? Did they move the icon somewhere else or otherwise indicate if a resource could be viewed using the Logos app or at biblia

Yes, now it downloaded. Yesterday even the product page didn't indicate mobile use.

  • Jewish and Catholic Study Bibles - one good, one bad

I got the Jewish Study Bible yesterday and the Catholic Study Bible today - but only the Catholic Study Bible has mobile rights so I can use/read it on my iPhone. C'mon, Oxford, you let us use LSJ on our mobile devices. Also, I'm still hoping Logos will get the 1999 revised version of the JPS Tanakh (which the Jewish Study Bible is based on), rather

Fasting is a neglected and very beneficial Christian discipline. (If you want some good advice or practice, go visit your local Eastern Orthodox Church and ask for their yearly Calendar with feast-day/fast-day instructions.) With a few basic food choice changes and some regular meal reductions, one should be able to cut back significantly on one's food

  • LSJ error and Logos lemma and tagging error

It appears to me that the citation in LSJ from Plutarch's Romulus for "runaway slave" being a meaning of apostatēs might be incorrect. I think that the word that is translated for apostatēs is "fugitives"; the word for "slaves" in the sentence occurs 2 words earlier -"oiketōn." I post both the English and Greek of Romulus below, from the Logos Perseus

When I talked with Dan Wallace and Verlyn Verbrugge a year-and-a-half or so ago at a Regional ETS conference, Dan said it would be ~5 years before a new edition of GGBB would be out.
