• Re: Logos Customer Service (specifically Dave Kaplan)

I've been a lifetime (well, as long as I've been a Logos user) Dave Kaplan customer (who guided my decision for my first purchase), and agree with everything said here. On the couple occasions I dealt with other salespersons because Dave was not working that day or was on vacation, I got excellent service as well. I only wish Bellingham were closer

  • Re: "The best book I have read this millenium" is on Vyrso!
No, this is not the exclamation of a mid-western housewife home maker about the latest Amish romance novel (indicating rather someone who reads approx one book per decade), but this is well-known Baptist blogger Wade Burleson's verdict about a book on the kingdom of God . He put his review onto his blog as "A must have book"
Eric, a list of all verses quoting OT is exactly what I need. What did you put in the search box to get the whole list? I can't do the search leaving the search box empty. Thanks, Gabe.
This is so long ago, I don't remember. I'd have to read through the thread and try to figure out what is being said here. But it would
Totally agree. Also huge is the Catholic Encyclopaedia: http://www.logos.com/product/8511/the-catholic-encyclopedia It also deserves raising our bids to $50. Hoping this will help it get some traction forward.
Good gravy! That Jewish Encyclopedia took 250MB to download! I'm glad I bought it even though it's been succeeded

  • Re: Questionable statement in EEC volume on James

Maybe he meant Proverbs 1:9, "for they are a garland of grace on your head and a necklace round your throat." (Robert Alter THE WISDOM BOOKS). This might call to mind the way phylacteries are wrapped around one's head and one's arm. For they are a fair garland for your head: They refers to the parental instruction and teaching in verse 8, which are

But I don't want to have to buy a $200 Zondervan language collection (or $300 if it includes Hebrew) just to get Wallace.
I tried to look up Daniel B. Wallace's Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics on Logos and couldn't find it. Does anyone know if it is still available and if so could you post a link. I saw forum discussions about a revised edition several years away. Does anyone know the current status?
If you buy old libronix products used on amazon, how would you know if they are already registered or not?
I have one or two books I found used or on a clearance price that came with Libronix CDs, new in the unopened plastic or cardboard sleeve, which I then installed and got registered in Logos 4. I removed
"Hell? Yes? (And Other Outrageous Truths You Can Still Believe)" by Robert Jeffress (Water Brook Press) has a wonderful chapter called "God Sends Good People to Hell." It is excellent. D. James Kennedy called the book "...a most provocative work..." It should be in Logos.
Robert Jeffress (pastor, FBC Dallas) and D

  • Re: Expositor's Bible Commentary -- Original vs. Revised

Logos had an upgrade price for owners of the original. I paid $297.67 including 8.25% tax = $274.99 + tax. I got the original for $84.42 including tax as a Pradis user during the original promotion. So $382.09 including tax is reasonable for both.
Yes! This is my most anticipated Logos resource ever. And it has all the indexes. I am so pleased. One weird thing, though: when I click on a link in the index, it jumps to my other edition of Calvin's Institutes instead of within this resource, even though that other edition is not in my prioritized resources list. I know
