  • Re: Great Greek Grammar

I have the 3-volume first edition of Funk's grammar, but I've not delved into it. I bought it at a good price at a used bookstore before realizing that a revised edition existed. It might make a nice museum piece someday.

  • Re: Expositor's Bible Commentary -- Original vs. Revised

[quote user="DAL"] This is one of the reasons why I believe the old version will not go out of print, because the introductory articles sort of set it apart from the new revised version of the commentary. Personally, I would add the new revised edition, but I think it's too expensive compared to the old one; hence, I'm so happy and content with my old

[quote user="David Kirk Davis"]I just bought the original for fear it will be pulled out of print. • Morph tagging error in Logos Septuagint with Logos Morphology

When doing a morph search for lemma:euaggelion OR lemma:euaggelizo in the Logos Septuagint with Logos Morphology, it does NOT return Psalm 95:2, whereas doing the same search in Septuagint SESB returns all the same verses as the Logos LXX as well as Psalm 95:2. I looked at Psalm 95:2 in the Logos Septuagint with Logos Morphology and the verse is the

[quote user="Randy Lane"] Seems like a no-brainer, but pricy: http://www.logos.com/product/31904/baker-exegetical-commentary-on-the-new-testament-galatians Amazon lists Nov. 2013 as publication date, and discounts the volume from a list of $45 to just over $27.25, a decent 39% Logos version list ptice is also $45, but the PrePub price is $40.45, a discount

  • Women's Bible Commentary in Logos - It's the New 2012 20th Anniversary Third Edition

http://www.logos.com/product/16101/womens-bible-commentary Though the product page says 501 pages (528 pp. per Amazon - probably 21 prefatory/introductory pages) 1998 expanded edition and shows the picture of the cover of that edition (with the Apocrypha), what I received in Logos last week or so (a pre-pub that finally shipped - hooray!) was the new

This may be great for some preachers, but every time I've looked at the hardbound edition - our local used bookstore has a set for sale - I've wondered more and more if I need or will ever use this. I'm thinking of dropping my pre-pub order, or I may just hang on until it's ready for pre-pub and make my decision then. At the pre-pub price of $480 it

As you can read above, I ordered the English + Latin when it was on pre-pub and I have them both on my PC and my iPhone. It took an extra day for the Latin to show up on my iPhone after the English did, though.

The Jewish Study Bible has the updated (1999?) Tanakh, unlike the 1985 edition that Logos sells, so hopefully the JSB will include the Tanakh text and not just the notes.
