Just looking at this again, I had this as a part of the original ACCS collection some time ago, and while the ACCSGEN file has been updated, I had it quite a while before the latest release.
What is the name of the resource that it is downloading over and over? Also, are you getting any error codes in the download process or is the update just continually downloading? If you do know the name of the resource that it continually downloading, I can pass that information onto our web team and they can check to

Just an update on the problem (which continues at the moment). I spoke to someone at Logos and they were able to replicate the problem, but not why. One of the problems may be that there are two files with different dates for all these resources. For example, ESV is listed on the FTP site as 2/13/2008 and one in the Update directory listed as 06/01

Hi Dominick I have 39. As far as I know my program is up to date. Alex.

Just got a message from Logos: "It looks like the server that holds this information crashed. It will hopefully be back online on Monday at some point. Sorry for the inconvenience..."

I agree. I've done that several times accidentally. It's carelessness of course but that comes with familiarity in the computing world.

Thanks for the link Mike. While I don't buy his argument, he does raise an interesting point that I hadn't considered and that led to some further research, and that is, in what language did Jesus actually speak these words ? In the Hebrew New Testament, which is of course a translation, the words appear as אֲנִי הָאָלֶף אַף אֲנִי הַתָּו which I think

Why not highlight the entire portion you want to de-highlight and use erase in the highlight menu? It's not totally effortless but not really that difficult. You can start the highlight at the beginning, go to the end of the portion and complete the highlighting using the shift key and cursor.

Here is a very brief, and incomplete excerpt from Runge, S. E. (2010). A Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament: A Practical Introduction for Teaching and Exegesis (42). Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc. One of the significant mismatches between English and Greek conjunctions is clearly seen in the different senses that are ascribed

There is also at least one retired medical doctor in the group.

You're welcome. One of the advantages of the forums is that there are so many users - someone can almost certainly solve most problems.
I hope I don't have to pay duty on it.
I hope I don't jinx us, but I don't think I've ever had to pay duty on the first class single DVD mailers - it's usually on the larger packages as they go through customs. Anyway, like you, I hope not! Come to think of it, it isn't' custom duty is it? - I think it's the GST they
Still waiting for mine in Ontario!
Me too. And yet some arrived in the UK days ago? Has to say something about our Customs and Mail service doesn't it?!!

I think Argentina should handle Germany OK. I'm still picking Brazil to win it all, but they'll need to shut down the Netherlands defensively to do it.
Thanks! Eh! In Ontario we get a present of a new taxation method HST (perhaps you heard already). Yet to see how this will impact us.
Yeah - it's supposed to make things cheaper for us, so they're sending us $1000 over the next year to compensate us for all the money we're going to save! What's wrong with this picture
Obviously, I stepped into a trap I did not know. What is the theology that would make some see the statement as offensive? I'll try to educate myself to not fall into the blunder again.
MJ asked a question. I think it deserves an answer. Her statement was "You don't want to risk being part of the reason someone doesn
I'd also like to know where this idea began.
I wonder if a better question might be, where did the idea that it's not, begin. I suspect it may be a reaction to some who take the position that the church has replaced Israel, which is a much different thing, but that's just my opinion - I've never really researched
Unfortunately, the Zondervan Jay Adams volumes ( Competent to Counsel , The Christian Counselor's Manual , and A Theology of Christian Counseling ) seem to have been left out of that list, and those were the main ones I wanted.
I'm with you on that Todd. I'll never buy that collection - too much fluff involved - but

That's the 11th of August in Australia I think - 8th of November for the rest of us!
