Aside from one being a 5 volume and the other being a 60 volume, I would assume that the 60 volume has more meat.
It seems both have the same amount of pages. I wouldn't be suprised if the content is very similar. The 60 volume set is from 1991, the 5-volume from 1981, so maybe a new edition?

I see 60 percent, but I find it rather expensive yet, considering the amount I already own.

  • Re: Search Trouble

Mark, this is amazing! Thanks a lot! I really should dive further into Logos searches especially Clause, Morph and Syntax searches have some enormous hidden treasures. Even though I sometimes feel I want to do one search with all those options combined. I hope Logos finds some way to make that possible one day.

  • [resolved] Search Trouble

Okay, I keep finding my self trying to perform a search that I am not able to do even though I believe Logos is able to. At this moment I would like to find all instances in the OT where God knows (ידע) someone's name (שֵֽׁם). Can someone help me out with this search and maybe point me to some good introductions into Logos searching?

  • Re: Faithlife Today feedback?

The recent series on different cities were very interesting. Sometimes the interviews are a bit dull. Every interview should have at least one provoking questions that can't be answered with "I just wrote in my book"

  • What Logos Now needs (or would do it good anyway)

Logos Now should have some Journal subscription connected with it. It would be amazing if we could actually subscribe to the latest journals and recieve them in a similar speed as a copy journal would be. It would greatly enhance my interest in Logos Now and I think journals do fit the subscription model.

  • Re: Recommendations?

I would go for Gold, I do not find the difference between Gold and Platinum worth it. Additionally would completely depend on your pastor. I would really go for things like the IVP reference collection or WBC . But I am no baptist, so what do I know.... :P

  • Re: Which New Testament, and Old Testament Commentaries should I have in my Library?
1. I have 799 individual commentary volumes. I have bought Logos 5 Diamond, and Logos 4 series. As for useful, so far I like them all, Love to read.
I think my library is similar to yours and I found two things lacking: technical thorough commentaries and the Old Testament in general. I have invested in Word Biblical

  • Re: m.Ed Bundles ....

Be patient, normally they will unbundle the set in time! Combine that with a discount that shows up now and then and if you can wait you will have the couses you want for the right price.
If I made a collection out of my nicene books, would it show up in "My Content"?
I do not know the answer on your main question, but I can tell you that "my content" is not about the books you own but about your clippings/notes/passege lists etc.

  • Re: Context of Scripture incomplete
Is it only the index on biblical passages which is missing or are there others? Is this index present in each printed volume or just one?
My teacher Old Testament told me that there was a scripture on biblical passages. I am only sure of the version we have in our library that it contains those indexes. But that

  • Context of Scripture incomplete

I own the (outstanding) context of scripture series. But I am rather dissapointed that not all of the indexes in the print edition are also in the electronic edition. The print edition features, for example, an index on bible passages. But the Logos edition lacks that one. I understand Logos rather sells it's own datasets with this information, but

  • Re: Noet

It is a part of the Faithlife coorperation. Where Verbum focusses on Catholic users. Logos on protestant users. Verbum on E-books Noet is the classical studies part. there you would find more 'general' type off resources for classical studies. All resources from the above integrate in the same Logos software
