    Hi all, I've used Logos for over a decade and love it. I would love to introduce it to people in my congregation, but, the price tag for someone starting out may be prohibitive.     I think one of the reasons why FaithLife seems so confusing is because of how FaithLife has evolved. For instance, these forms are at "logos".com ...not faithlife.com. FaithLife was Logos to begin with (as far as I remember). Other products started showing up. I don't know the real reason for the name change, but they started putting everything under

    Thanks for the response Michael. I did get your point and you are making mine as well. I only know of one pastor who has been held hostage by their congregation and who ended up being fired. The vast majority of pastors I know are not held hostage.My point is my experience is anecdotal...as is your's. FWIW, In my denomination we are assigned to churches

    Still not working. I'm showing "The Pastoral Side of Paul" for Faithlife today and Colossians 1:28 for the verse of the day. I forced stopped the app before checking.

    Hope this helps. I did notice both the verse of the day and the Faithlife video stopped updating about the same time. Reproduction Steps Open up the app, go to home: Result: No verse of the day (before uninstall/installing it was an old verse of the day) Detailed Device Information Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Nook Edition (not rooted) Detailed Android version

    Thanks. It wasn't that much trouble, but about a month or so ago I started using the Home page and started making it a practice to watch the video and then, at times, I would post either the verse of the day, or do a "visual copy" of a verse from my reading to Facebook. I've been going to the website to get the verse of the day...so...not too much trouble

  • Calendar times wrong

    All of our reoccurring events have the wrong time. I assume this has to do with the time change. The times are off by an hour and I don't see anywhere to add the time zone...plus...I am, at this point, unable to change the times. Is this going to be fixed, or will I have to delete and add the events again?

  • Proclaim and Recording Video Clips

    I know slides get 'recorded' in Proclaim when I record audio. Is there a way to include video clips that might be used as well? If I'm using a video clip for a sermon illustration, is it possible to have that video included? I did a test and instead of the video clip there was a blank screen where the video was. I tested this at home, so I don't know

    @Kolen, I use multiple computers and mobile apps. Although, there are some resources I could hide without missing them at all. I'll give that a shot. @MJ, I don't know about the Datasets. Would they end up being 25gb? I only have about 40 gigs on that drive. I assumed since I was using the regular LogosSetup.exe install file, it would attempt to download

    Thanks @dave. I'm giving it another shot. I just deleted the Logos directory off of drive D as well. Hopefully this time works :)

    @David...Thanks!!! I don't know how I missed that. I had read through that thread several times. I think I thought the links were for the WIndows/Mac release notes....which doesn't make any sense when I stopped to think about it. My "recommended" library is downloading now! Thanks again!

    @Andrew, I thought I had. I uninstalled and then deleted /users/username/AppData/local/Logos directory. I didn't think to look in the programFiles directory...or the ProgramData directory thinking the uninstaller would take care of those. Getting late here...I'll check it out in the morning. Thanks!

    FWIW, I moved to Beta for this one feature because the SSD on my desktop was running out of room because of my library. I ended up downloading the recommended resources, however, there seemed to be a lot of resources I don't usually use and it left out a lot of resources I use every week. That wasn't a big deal because I then filtered out "resources

    Just for clarification, my oversight was not realizing the "Windows" and "Mac" links were to installation files. The post didn't specify that those were installation files. So, instead of clicking on the link, I used the normal installation file to install and then changed my update channel to beta and then issued the update now command. I kept thinking

    I may be very confused, but did the partial download of resources go a way? I saw the message about keeping it in Beta, but seems like its gone in the version I'm using (8.3.0018). I'm assuming that is RC1? If it did go away, is there any way I can keep on the Beta version that has it? Logos has completely filled up my drive again.... Thanks!

    Since I use a Chromebook for a lot of what I do, I'd love for this to be fixed. I tried it on Microsoft Edge (Windows) and it looks the same, so I guess it isn't an issue only with Chrome.
