  • Re: Chromecast and Proclaim

We've started using Chromecast at the church and it has been wonderful. That's why I'm here. We realized that when we replace our ageing projector with a TV...using Chromecast would mean we wouldn't have to run wires at all! Even if Proclaim won't work with Chromecast, having Chromecast in the mix would mean being able to connect to the system with

  • Re: Sigh....Today we had problems again....

@Scott Alexander...seems like you think the issues were not on Logos end...well, add my church to the list of those that had problems. I was on vacation, but received an email that the media guy sent saying we were getting the error "trying to connect to server." I haven't chatted with him since, but I've started syncing up the presentation on Thursday

  • Re: How to delete from "my content"?

Wow. The OP was over a year ago. Content management is still pretty much non-existent. I'm assuming this is pretty low on the priority list. It is frustrating.

  • Bible text animations

I see logos' bible text animations on Youtube, but at the end it has extra stuff. Is there an easy way to get the bible text animations into Proclaim without the extra links at the end? Thanks!

  • Re: Proclaim "trying to connect to server"

Okay. It is probably our network. It only happens during service, so I assume it is individuals connecting to our network (which we allow).

  • Proclaim "trying to connect to server"

Hi all, We've just started using Proclaim two weeks ago. On Sunday we kept getting the message "trying to connect to server" (or reach server, or something along that line). Any idea of what could cause this? Is it a bandwidth issue? Thanks for any insight! Dave.

  • Re: Bug - Music played on switching to 'Logo' slide! and Time Reset.

I've also noticed that the logo screen has music. I hope that Logos reconsiders this. It was a surprise the first time the media guys went to that screen, but now they know to mute the sound during the service. I believe it would be better if the logo screen did not have music, or at least had the option to not have music.

  • Re: Can't edit newsletter on Faithlife

That's the thing...I never published it. I had started working on it, then saved the draft. When I went to edit it again, it seemed to create a new newsletter. I thought I might be able to pull off the info I had in it (after logos got the issue resolved), but no go. It still shows up and has an "edit" button, but I can't.

  • Re: Can't edit newsletter on Faithlife

I couldn't edit my original newsletter. My first newsletter still gives me the same behavior, but I created a new one, put in some text, "save draft" and I was able to go back in and edit later. Seems like it is fixed. Thanks!

  • New Media Computer

Hi, We are wanting to update our computer media system. Currently we are running an older Dell system (about 7 years old) and are using SundayPlus. We are wanting to upgrade to different presentation software. Right now the computer is not connected to the internet, however, we have WiFi in the sanctuary. We were debating on getting an HP P6-2330 or

  • Re: Biblia Development?

Personally, I would like to have the passage guide in something like biblica.com. Thanks to this forum, I found that the passage guide is in library.logos.com. I have some computers that I use Linux on and I'm trying to use the website instead of needing to boot into windows.

Larry, did you try downloading Logos Bible App from the forum link above? ( http://community.logos.com/forums/t/64178.aspx ) I just downloaded Vyrso from that link since Amazon tells me Vyrso isn't compatible with my device (Logos...did you know that?).

Wow..that's a bit odd. Not sure why you would need the google play book app. However, you can get that app on the Kindle Fire HD. I had it for a while...not sure if I still do...so if they haven't changed anything it should still be possible. Here is a forum on how to get the google apps (other than Google Play) onto the Kindle Fire HD _without_ rooting

You can also get Logos Bible App from 1mobile.com. So if you set your Kindle to allow installation from other sources, you should be able to get this. Also, I believe, you could get the beta version straight from Logos (there's a forum with the link). Peace! David.

  • Re: Kindle Fire HD

As far as I can tell Logos works fine on KFHD. 16G is plenty of room. I have a few commentaries, bibles, etc. download so I can use them when they are offline. Hope this helps!

  • Re: New User Troubles

I believe I did it both ways. When I was at the church I tried to upload a video and just kept getting errors. This does bring up a question though...If I choose "local only" how do I later tell it to upload? I don't see an option to upload after I choose local? Do I need to re-add the movie? I'll have to remember to do the log file when I'm at church

  • Re: New User Troubles

We are having trouble with PC and Mac. I probably should have said that we are evaluating Proclaim right now, so we have not purchased on On Air license. I started wondering today if that would cause videos not to be uploaded/synced. If that is the case, how would we test creating presentations at home, and syncing them at the church?

  • New User Troubles

Hi All, My church is looking into new presentation software. We were using SundayPlus (didn't like it all that well) and after six years are looking to upgrade our computer system and software. Since I'm a Logos user, I thought I'd check out proclaim first. I like the concept of doing the work via the "cloud." Anyway, I downloaded Proclaim at home and
