  • Re: Biblia Development?

Personally, I would like to have the passage guide in something like biblica.com. Thanks to this forum, I found that the passage guide is in library.logos.com. I have some computers that I use Linux on and I'm trying to use the website instead of needing to boot into windows.

That's the thing...I never published it. I had started working on it, then saved the draft. When I went to edit it again, it seemed to create a new newsletter. I thought I might be able to pull off the info I had in it (after logos got the issue resolved), but no go. It still shows up and has an "edit" button, but I can't.

  • Kindle Fire HD

I guess I'll be the first one to bring this up. I just received the Kindle Fire HD today. When I went to download Logos Bible app it said it wasn't compatible. Is this _really_ the case? Could I download the beta version directly and use that? I've already set it to allow Unknown sources...but not sure if it will allow me to download the beta version

Thanks! I've been using Logos on the Fire HD and it seems to work fine. One of the other issues I've noticed with Amazon's app store is that some of the apps I did download were older versions. If I want the newer versions, I have to sideload them. Then I'm not sure what happens when those apps get upgraded. I assumed that Amazon wasn't allowing Logos

  • Re: New User Troubles

We are having trouble with PC and Mac. I probably should have said that we are evaluating Proclaim right now, so we have not purchased on On Air license. I started wondering today if that would cause videos not to be uploaded/synced. If that is the case, how would we test creating presentations at home, and syncing them at the church?

As far as I can tell Logos works fine on KFHD. 16G is plenty of room. I have a few commentaries, bibles, etc. download so I can use them when they are offline. Hope this helps!

You can also get Logos Bible App from 1mobile.com. So if you set your Kindle to allow installation from other sources, you should be able to get this. Also, I believe, you could get the beta version straight from Logos (there's a forum with the link). Peace! David.

Wow..that's a bit odd. Not sure why you would need the google play book app. However, you can get that app on the Kindle Fire HD. I had it for a while...not sure if I still do...so if they haven't changed anything it should still be possible. Here is a forum on how to get the google apps (other than Google Play) onto the Kindle Fire HD _without_ rooting

  • Church Mobile Ed Subscription and Logos Bible App

Hi, I'm not sure what forum to post this in, so I thought I'd do it here ;) My church now has a church subscription to FaithLifeTV and the Mobile Ed courses. I think this is wonderful. However, I notice in the Logos Bible App, I only get access to the courses I've paid for rather than the ones I have access to via our subscription. I notice in my Desktop

  • Re: Introducing FaithLife to Congregation

Since Logos has the basic package now, is there any reason to point people to the FaithLife Bible Study mobile app? Would focusing on the Logos Bible mobile app be best? (I have FaithLife Study Bible mobile app on my phone, but don't usually use it...so I'm not sure if there is value in having people install it rather than the Logos version.)

  • Church successfully using FaithLife Groups

Hi, I'm in the process of introducing FaithLife Groups to our congregation. Since we've purchased a FaithLifeTV subscription, I thought the groups would be a way to connect us during different studies. Is there a church that has successfully introduced FaithLife Groups? I would be very interested in hearing how they are using it and how they were able

Thanks Graham. That's kind of what I thought (after I did the post). It would be nice to have everything bundled together. Some of my folks aren't that computer literate, but would benefit from Logos/FaithLife. I'll probably do a webpage explaining the process and linking to the various resources.

  • Confused on Groups

Hi all, I've watched the videos, read blog posts, and I'm not sure if a FaithLife Group can do what I want it to do. So...here it goes. I want a study group that shows up under the "Group" tab of our Church's main Faithlife Group. However, I don't want people who are not members of our church's FaithLife group to be able to find it. I don't want it

  • Questions Aloud

I noticed a new option under "FaithLife Originals" so I thought I'd check it out. Looking through the questions, one caught my eye...on whether pastors should be paid. Topic aside, I find it amusing listening to those who are not pastors talk about what should or shouldn't happen with pastors...but more than that, I find it interesting on how pastors

  • Re: Questions Aloud

Thanks for the response. A long time ago I realized that people tend to believe their jobs are harder than other people's jobs. So, those who are not pastors, view pastor's jobs the same way...the old...they only work one day a week. Since my church is subscribed to FaithLifeTV, after watching that episode, I wonder how the people of my congregation

I wasn't quite sure whether to post this in General, or in the Android section. Anyway...I did a post and short video showing the Logos Bible Android app running on my Acer R11 Chromebook. I posted it to the Chromebook Forums on Google Plus...thought I'd post it here as well. My other techniques for using Logos on my Chromebook are 1) using the http

  • Re: Logos Now and Faithlife Connect: The Why

[quote user="Matt Hudson"] I think it would be different if a comparable online service (Amazon Prime or Netflix) did this. If an online service cancels their whole service, gives it a new name, then offers the same service back to their users at twice the price, I have a sense many, many customers would have plenty of complaints and suggestions for

[quote user="Brian Price"] An example of this is the Sermon Editor. I LOVE the idea, but I always copy and paste the final product into MS Word to finish any document. Why? Because the sermon editor lacks basic editing functionality. At the very least, we should be able to change the font, the font size, line spacing, margins, etc. Features that most
