Of course it is your decision, but it is only the Vyros icon is pixulated, and to be honest, I dont find it that big of a deal at all. I have found I like the device much.more than I thought. Tomorrow Im leading a retreat and taking my Fire HD and using the HDMI output to display a Powerpoint presetation on a TV that is there. If I need to I can even

After you do the "installations of applications" then you can go do http://downloads.logos.com/Android/Logos/beta/index.html to get the beta, or http://www.1mobile.com/ (or some other app place), download it, then install it. I ended up installing the 1mobile appstore to make things a bit easier. I agree, it would be wonderful to have it in the Amazon
I had been looking forward to ordering the 8.9" Fire that is to come out in November but will probably look elsewhere for a tablet. I didn't realize that the Vyrso app had not been approved. Part of the great deal on Amazon Fire tablets is offset by Amazon's restrictiveness. I was wanting a tablet larger than a 7" one and did

Thanks! I've been using Logos on the Fire HD and it seems to work fine. One of the other issues I've noticed with Amazon's app store is that some of the apps I did download were older versions. If I want the newer versions, I have to sideload them. Then I'm not sure what happens when those apps get upgraded. I assumed that Amazon wasn't allowing Logos

Under settings-device you can turn on the ability to install apps from other locations. Then you can download it from logos or another app store.
I am surprised to hear the app is not working for you on the Kindle Fire HD. Do the Logos Bible, Biblia and/or Faithlife Study Bible apps appear for you in the Amazon Market from your Kindle Fire HD?
No, they don't show up in the Amazon store at all. I went to the website on my laptop, did a search for Logos, and

I guess I'll be the first one to bring this up. I just received the Kindle Fire HD today. When I went to download Logos Bible app it said it wasn't compatible. Is this _really_ the case? Could I download the beta version directly and use that? I've already set it to allow Unknown sources...but not sure if it will allow me to download the beta version

  • Re: Faith Life Commentaries?

I'm very knew to FLB, but not to Logos. I really feel for the folks at Logos, especially if they are required to make sure the church folk using FLB to not freak out over comments, notes, etc. Given the discussion on the commentary of John 1, I started wondering how will Logos deal with textual variance such as Acts 9:5. Most commentaries, liberal or

  • Re: Zondercrooks stick it to Pradis users

This is my main issue with any electronic resource. I love Logos (never had Pradis), but I hate that if Logos ever decides to go a different direction, or go out of business. I'm stuck. I loose my resources. I love the ability to do searches and having my entire library on my computer. In some ways I think it is cheaper purchasing the electronic sources
