• Automatic, offline lookups on Android

I love the little pop-up with the lookup info that automatically appears in iOS when you long press a word in a Reverse-Interlinear or Original Language Bible. Please add that to the Android app! It is such a great and useful feature.

God and the World by Joseph Ratzinger ( https://www.logos.com/product/32881/god-and-the-world-believing-and-living-in-our-time-a-conversation-with-peter-seewald ). This is a book length interview

  • Two problems with the new Lectionary cards

I have run into two problems with the new Lectionary cards on the v8 Mobile app: 1. When a dash appears in the name of the liturgical date, the text gets cut off prior to the dash. So, instead of a text like "TUESDAY OF THE THIRTY-FIRST WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME", you see "TUESDAY OF THE THIRTY" 2. When offline, the card doesn't update to today when you
Hi all, We're working on bringing back the date-picker functionality. Does this meet your Lectionary card needs?
Thanks Daniel. That would be the absolute bare minimum needed for it to work. However, I would much prefer that choosing the date simply update the card. There are a few reasons for this. First, it

  • Re: Lexham Survey of Theology - feedback

Mark W., It is certainly correct that the document can never please everyone in everything. However, it is a realistic goal that Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox all generally feel fairly represented, and can feel like their positions and arguments are fairly and honestly presented, in a way they can identify with. I think the structure you present

  • Re: Theology Guide (Verbum 8) - not showing Catholic resources?

The team that put together the Theology Guide was entirely composed of Protestant theologians. This is quite unfortunate for a project like this. Many times when they present Catholic understanding of issues I find I don't identify as a Catholic with their presentation. As well as other issues (I sent a more detailed critique to Faithlife, including

Hi Damian, Great suggestion! We have talked about turning the Advanced Homiletics "workflow" into a new Verbum 8 workflow, but unfortunately the Workflow editor does not yet support Liturgical dates. Until it does, unfortunately it would be practically impossible to develop a workflow to prepare a Homily, as the workflow needs to be able to easily link

Syncing notes didn't work properly for me either when I upgraded. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Android app and now everything works.

  • Re: Verbum 8 - How Can I Select a Different Date From the Homepage?
OK. Well ... changing the date on the Daily Readings did not result in any other changes in resources in the Layout. Neither does changing the Lectionary to the corresponding date. The drop-down calendar was just my visual que that something was not the way it used to be. Everything in the Liturgical Layout was tied to that
HI Rick, I'm sorry you've had a frustrating experience with this. It seems like the ultimate solution here is to allow highlighting across multiple pages while in paging mode. That's something that's on our roadmap. The two-fingered scrolling feature is something that we might move away from, since it's not really discoverable

The 2 finger scroll on Android use to work properly. The current behavior is a bug.

  • Re: Ability to "tap" for page change while in Scroll View

I have an iOS and Android. On iOS, two finger scrolling works well enough. On Android, even on a high performance device it is a total disaster. Instead of scrolling on pixel at a time, or even one line, it scrolls in an entirely erratic fashion, something along the lines of one page at a time, so that you completely lose your place.

Hello Federico! We recommend seeing the Verbum 360 videos first. The Advanced videos all presuppose that you've seen the 360 videos, but they don't presuppose that you've seen the other Advanced videos, so you can watch those in whatever order most interests you. Sometimes the Advanced videos do presuppose that you've seen earlier videos in the same

Hey Brandon, I mean Br Damien-Jospeh! I hope you are well! I'm guessing you know about the Visual Filter for the AFAT Bible that will display different colors based on Eissfeldt's classification. It's available here: https://faithlife.com/logos-visual-filters/documents . It will at least do part of what you are asking, only in that Bible though.
