• Re: Right click a word and easier access to BDAG

I was doing a paste and didn't use the upload feature. But this shows what I am getting and what I would like is for the prioritized lexicon to show up when I first open the drop down menu. Wayne

  • Re: Right click a word and easier access to BDAG

Thanks Graham! I will experiment with the Information Window. I would still like to see the popup window from the right click to be enlarged or enable the size to be customized.

  • Re: Right click a word and easier access to BDAG

I typically use ESV or NKJV and frequently want to look up the word in the original. What I on screen is what is shown below. BDAG is prioritized and comes up when I scroll down, but I would like for it to appear in the initial drop down window. I am using a 14 inch monitor. Sorry I wasn't active yesterday, but was busy with family and church activities

  • Right click a word and easier access to BDAG

I frequently right click a word to open the Bible Study drop down box. At times I would just like to open BDAG. Presently I have to scroll down to open BDAG. I would like for the top 3-5 lexical resources to be already in the box when opening without needing to scroll down to the lexicon of choice.
According to the SBC 40% of their pastors have no college. We have visited one such SBC church and the pastor is a carpenter by day and pastor by weekend. I know there is a significant number
I honestly don't understand why Logos Development wastes the time fixing bugs in both the old source tree and the new one. L5 should be both the bugfix upgrade path and the new features upgrade path from L4. It is not an entirely new UI like L4 was over L3. It made sense to keep fixing bugs in L3 while active development had

I remember reading in the forum that Logos plans to remove that requirement in the future. They have to rewrite code for that to happen and so it may take awhile.

  • Re: Can one see what is not part of a Collection in the Library?

I would like to see a list of collections in a column for each resource. I made a collection of all resources that are in another collection. It left me with a couple hundred resources. I was able to get the list down to 60 by adding a few collections, redoing some collection rules and in some cases adding tags to books. There were a handful of books

  • Re: Can one see what is not part of a Collection in the Library?

This is what I had started doing last year. I finished it last night. I added a couple of collections and had a rewrite some rules in current collections. I am hoping that some day "collections" becomes one of the headers in the library list.

  • Can one see what is not part of a Collection in the Library?

Is there anyway to see in the Library the books that are not part of a collection. I would like to verify that I am getting all the right books in the collection and see if any books are not making it into a collection. I wish the heading had an option for collections.

  • Re: Thank you, Logos!

I looked at some of the sample pages on the web site. Are the pictures formatted in such a way that they could be copied to a power point? It appears that the pictures are typically not rectangular. The book text wraps around the image. It makes for attractive images but my question is whether they can be incorporated into lesson preparation.

  • Re: BDAG PRO/CONS

So what is the likely hood of BDAG being updated in the next 10 years? As I understand all those who worked on previous editions have passed away. Has anyone taken up their mantle? How would it be funded in a time when a growing number buy books on computer? I assume that a new edition would more likely be a group effort than have so much coming from
My question is: why are they hidden by default?
When I open the browser to the Logos forum I see only the topics that have been changed since I read them last. So if I read something, then it doesn't appear in the listing until someone makes a new post.
