I am confused. What does the percentage represent?
I looked at the books that were part of each collection. Roughly 13% of all the libraries represented in the report had the books that are part of the Portfolio collection. 54% of the libraries in the report had the books that are part of the Platinum collection.

Thanks Mark for your work! I did a quick comparison of the package books that are included in bibliographic report and come up with following rough percentages: Silver 73% Gold 62% Platinum 54% Portfolio 13% The test group was only 262 libraries and doesn't necessarily have the same percentages as the tens of thousands who own Logos libraries. It is

I am in the process of giving away the remaining books of what was at one time a 800 volume library. The reason is that we are planning on moving continents and the price of freight makes it totally unpractical to take more than few volumes. If we didn't have Logos, we might have taken about a 100 volumes, now it is less than 50. I am by nature a tight

It would be good to see sample pages of some of the early commentaries. The press release talks about being released from the constraints of print. It would be helpful if significant portions of the Psalms and Epistles of John commentaries scheduled for 2011 be released for preview. It would be interesting not just to see the introduction sections,
This whole topic actually can be summed up in whether or not it's okay for a company, or people, to profit on the word of God. I can see a lot of reasons as the why it's not a good thing to make money on the word of God, as Jesus wants us to reach as many as possible, and logos can be an invaluable tool in this matter, but not everyone

I have adopted the use of Logos 4 slowly. I had a reading schedule that I only recently moved over to L4. The videos have been a big help to me to make the transition. I have watched most of the videos made by private users as they show how to bring the various aspects of Logos 4 together at one time. It has been a month since I have opened version

The leading netbook at Amazon can only use up to 2GB of ram. I believe that Intel has a fair amount of influence on what kind of machine can use the Atom procesor.

http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Video_Tutorials I would suggest that you spend some time looking at the videos posted in this wiki page. John Fidel has some good videos that will help you set up your workspace in ways that don't require as many resources. What you don't want to do if you use a netbook or slower computer is go to the home page, enter your

The current chart only shows it as part of Portfolio.

Logos has stated that version 4 is a work in progress. However, the dissatisfaction in the initial post was with one aspect of the program. Obviously one can get a refund if one doesn't like the program. Getting a refund is not a viable option for most since Logos has no competition in their niche. Sure there is BibleWorks, a program designed for Greek

I have had Logos 4 installed for a week. I waited a week or two to get the initial rush over. I knew it would take me a long time to download and index the program (it took me 4 days just to download). There are various ways to use Logos 4. The passage guide has a lot of power and can find lots of information. But it takes up more memory and can slow

  • Initial indexing

I downloaded Logos 4 last week. It took 4 days to download just over 2,000 books. I expected it to take that long as two gig per day is about what I can expect. The indexing started on the last day of downloading. Indexing began before everything was downloaded. As near as I can tell, as soon as the resources were finished, the indexing started. However
