I have found this to be a valuable resource. It does cover how the doctrines have been developed historically. Demarest typically deals with the Catholic, Armenian and Reformed positions. As appropriate the position of liberals, Barth, etc are covered as well. It is ordered in the sequence that Demarest sees as being the order of salvation. I have used

There is a Logos post on Facebook saying to w8 for an announcement tomorrow. It appears the time is 6am Pacific time.

It is possible to make a free Skype call to a toll free number in the USA. I have done that a number of times overseas. The 888 number is toll-free.

I know the website was down during the night USA time. Logos 7 downloaded for me at 10pm Pacific time. I could see it was Logos 7 and checked the website and it was already down trying to upgrade for the changes.

I had a 400+ MB earlier and that was followed by 200+ MB download. So the total for us was over 600 MB. It has installed without problems.

I have three children (27 to 22). The oldest is the most likely to use e-books. The youngest firmly prefers print books. He has avoided whenever possible e-books at college. I have read in the past that there is a return to print books in the millennial age bracket.

I have the revised edition currently.
-
I purchased back in 2005. I would prefer to stay with the old edition over the newer edition.

About ten years ago in a purchase of the Logos Gold package of that time I received the original edition of Barclay Bible Study commentaries. For a number of years I continued with the original edition. I noticed a few years back that I now have the Revised commentary. At times it has been stated that if you ever purchase a product that you will always

Based on the above post we did pick up Fruchtenbaum's book. My wife is teaching Bible Geography at the moment. I have enclosed a random quote from the book. I think that it would be helpful on a trip as it gives a quick summary of the principal facts and where the place is mentioned in Scripture. MOUNT HERMON (JEBEL ESH-SHEIKH) 1. × miles culminating

A confirmation on how this overlaps with current journal bundles would be helpful!

I am liking the search function on Logos 6. I just looked up a very common word like resurrection. The ranked feature brings out articles that have that as a topic. One of the click on options that comes up is topic. It used and brought up five resources in my library. The Sense search brought up 253 articles in 13 resources.

1.58 GB download 3 hours to download 1 hour to prepare program 2.5 hours to index. The first 10% and the last 10% took the longest. I normally can index in approximately 20 minutes.
-
Will indexer take longer than it normally takes? I have a new enough computer that indexing is not a problem for us. It normally finishes in less than 30 minutes.
-
Something that I have done when I want to search a topic like comparative religion or post-modernism is that I will do a search of a particular topic in the appropriate collection and then followup with a search of the whole library. What I am looking for is books that are not part of the collection, but should be. I don't tag the books, but look to

Thanks! I missed that little change in how the Library feature works.
-
The Library enhancements are excellent except for one caveat. It used to be that you could right click on a resource and see the information on that book. Now the right click doesn't work and one has to left click. That brings up the information, but also opens the book at the same time.

This commentary was translated in 1965 As the Comentario Biblico Moody. This is the date for the New Testament and the Old Testament was likely a couple of years later.
