I have to upgrade to Parallels 10 to reliably continue using it (since Parallels 9 has some flaws in Yosemite).
Nathan, can you elaborate on the "flaws" that Parallels 9 has in Yosemite?

  • Re: Why I decided to take the Hermeneia/Continental Commentary Deal

I'd like to compare Hermeneia to Anchor Yale Bible. An excerpt from the passage of Luke 16:1-9 from Hermeneia has been posted here earlier. Could someone post an excerpt from the same passage from the Anchor Yale Bible for me? Thank you

Can someone give me a list of the Anchor Yale Volumes that have been written by Jewish scholars? Somebody that owns the whole set as well as the denomination tags could probably very easily compile such a list for me. Thank you!

  • Crash - while indexing

I downloaded some recourses yesterday that got updated. After installing them Logos started to index. Indexing stopped at 18% (the blue Logos icon disappeared in the task bar, but the yellow bar was still showing in Logos, remaining at 18%). I restarted Logos. This time it made it to 4%. I left it all night long with now results. I'm using Logos 5.2b

Hallo Thomas, Ist es möglich dass die Menge Bibel auch einzeln erhältlich wird? Ist glaube ich die einzige aus dem German Bible Society Bundle die nicht einzeln erhältlich ist. Schade!

  • Re: LOUW NIDA VS BIBLE SENSE LEXICON
Thanks for the great filters! Anyone have tools like this for Old Testament studies?
Unfortunately no! Not at this point. But there are two future possibilities. One is that Logos adds functional connectors to the Bible Sense Lexicon and the other is if Logos annotates the OT using the Semantic Dictionary

I have added two more visual filters with their corresponding highlighting palettes that feature Louw-Nida Domains to the Visual Filters Faithlife group. One includes Discourse Markers and Comparisons, the other Time and Location references. Here is how you can use them: If you do Inducting Bible Study: Turning on the Relations filter helps you find

  • Re: NET Bible Reverse Interlinear

I'd like to bring this up to our attention again. Looking at this forum entry there are a number of people that wait for the NET reverse interlinear of the OT and the NT. This forum goes back a few years already. I too would love to have it. And I have learned if we don't voice it we will not get it! Does anybody know whether this request is on logos

  • Re: The $ value of the mobile apps to Logos

Logos could simply be extended to read other e-book formats like kindle etc. They would be similar to vyrso books, no tagging etc.

So, in Logos we have Anderson Forbes Genre Coding. But then we also have two datasets, "Tooman Literary Genre Coding of the Old Testament" and "New Testament Genre Coding". Can these two datasets only be accessed via the guides? Since these are datasets, why can we not search them? I find that funny. A dataset is something to be accessed and searched

Ok, it worked now. First it just opened another tap in internet explorer because it couldn't find Logos. I'm working with different operating systems at the same time.

Thanks Mark, this is helpful information! How do I do these searches?
This search will tell you how many ANET references you have in your library (I have 14,770 excluding internal links). COS is a newer work, and therefore referenced less (I have 3,606 excluding internal links).
