The link to the webinar archive is commonly misspelled in the forums. The link is https://www.logos.com/webinar-archive If you go there you'll have find a video first thing on that page. On the top-left corner you'll find a playlist symbol. Click on it and choose the video you'd like to watch. The one you are looking for I believe is number 2: Harness

I use different layouts for different jobs. This gives me the opportunity to go back and pick up where I left. I use layouts with and without Guides. I use mostly custom guides. These are the sections I include in guides: Commentaries, Collections, My content, Cross References, Parallel Passages, Literary Typing, Outlines, Visualization, Topic, Themes
To do this, all you need to do is a basic search of that resource, using as the search text.
Yes, I'm aware of this option
This scenario where I find it most useful is when I'm preparing a sermon. Let's imaging I'm preaching from Romans, and a major topic of that passage is predestination

I don't know Facebook or Twitter well. But I'm just wondering whether there is a way to filter Logos page so only the daily deals show up (like a search maybe)? If somebody know how to do this, I guess we would all appreciate a link to be posted here.

Thanks Fredc! It is funny thought that it would highlight my open Bible portion in other recourses. Somehow I don't see a need for that as I usually don't struggle to find the right section in a commentary etc. I much rather would like to have it the other way round. I'd like to see links in my Bible to open recourses so I quickly see when a recourse

  • Re: is there a way to share each other's "layouts"?
I suspect you did not understand my original post. The "Favorites" to which I refer is a panel in a window (apparently also called "tile"). This panel is opened from the Tools menu. It is typical for it to be in a slender window on the left where the window is shared by a Highlighting panel. Each has their own tab. [/quote
See Floating Tool Windows Edit2: another companion wiki page ( Creating your own Custom Go Box )
Thanks Steve! This is great! So far I've always worked with Layouts. But for some things this might actually work much better, especially the Custom Go Box.
Since there was so much to read on the topic, I picked up the tab of the resulting search and dropped it into my favorites folder where I was keeping track of the class topics. Individual hits from a search can also be dragged directly into a favorites folder. "Favorites" is probably my favorite feature!
Is there

  • Re: Notes and Footnotes Popup Window
Thanks, clicking works for footnotes and references belonging to the Bible.
Correction : clicking on a reference opens that reference. For example a linked bible reference in a lexicon opens the Bible in that location.
You may try clicking the footnote or reference instead of moue-over. At least that's how it works on Windows.
Thanks, clicking works for footnotes and references belonging to the Bible. But clicking on a note icon opens the note.

  • Notes and Footnotes Popup Window

When I hover over a note icon or a footnote number in my open Bible a box pups up with the content of that note or footnote. Now sometimes that note/footnote contains a Bible reference. On a mobile device it is easy to access that reference since the popup box can be made to stay on your screen. So I just hover over the reference and I can quickly read

Can anybody summarize for me how the "links to open panels" work? Every time I see that feature I'm wondering what it does and what to use it for. A few examples would be helpful. Also, if that is selected, does anything show up in a open Bible?

  • Re: Dynamic Pricing Question Concerning HDNT and Discourse Materials

Yes, you do get dynamic pricing. If you would get the /3888/lexham-discourse-greek-new-testament-bundle you had to pay another $67,40 for the /15472/greek-new-testament-discourse-bundle. However, the /15472/greek-new-testament-discourse-bundle is on sale right now. You can get it for the same price as the /3888/lexham-discourse-greek-testament-bundle

Just curious, how well does a Mac Mini handle heat? Does it have ventilation? I'm living in a hot climate without air conditioning. And I just had a motherboard go bad on my MacBook Pro 15" (early 2011), most likely because of heat. For being my first Mac this was a bad Mac experience!!!

  • Christ's teaching in the epistles

A few month ago I purchased the commentary on the NT use of the OT by Beale and Carson. I learned a lot from that commentary, how the NT is built on the OT, how the NT interprets the OT etc. But it made me also think that this could be taken a step further. Not just did Christ and the apostles refer and use the OT but in a similar way I suspect that
