  • Re: What Is Saved on the Logos Servers?

Thanks Lynden, Sync Now (I didn't know about that one, I was trying Update Now to no avail), alas, does not work either. I now have all my original collections on my laptop and none here on my newly-installed PC. Hmm... maybe I will try Sync Now on the laptop. Perhaps it will force its collections onto the server and then onto my desktop. I hope it

nope, nothing, nada. My laptop has the collections, I did Sync All, I did Update All, I restarted Logos on the laptop. Then I come to my newly-installed desktop, started Logos, did Sync All, did Update All, restarted Logos, and NO COLLECTIONS. So... I know, have patience. MAYBE they will appear. We're only talking about a dozen collections so it can

YES on MorrisP@MPSeminars.com going to a wider Inbox that Morris@MPSeminars.com. But his assistant, Shannon, at Shannon@MPSeminars.com, is probably the BEST one to contact first. It is Shannon's responsibility (I think) to handle messages, etc., and seminar support, and Shannon can very quickly get your question to Morris or Cindy depending on what

  • Re: Windows Touch Screen Logos Possible vs iPad?

Kevin, that is a VERY good point that I also had not considered. I use that Age Control a lot in Logos. (What Age Control? The one on the Preferences menu. You know, the Age Control.) (You know that one with the big A's and the little A's and the older you get, the more towards the bigger A's we move it?) (I have to give Morris Proctor credit for that

  • Windows Touch Screen Logos Possible vs iPad?

I am a Windows-Only user for various reasons. Logos is the first thing that has EVER gotten me to consider an Apple product. (I have absolute knowledge Apple's products are wonderful, you don't need to convince me. I really do know that.) For a while I have assumed I will be buying my first Apple product: An iPad to run Logos 4 - It really, really could

  • Re: Training manuals vol 1-2 by Morris Proctor

Tony, Oh YES. I received both volumes 2 days ago that I ordered November 9th when he announced they would be shipping. I had a mini-preview of vol 1 before it arrived and knew what to expect and as usual, Morris did not fail in delivering. These are not re-hashing of his other materials (not that he does that anyway) but seem to be from-the-ground-up

  • Bug Present when I Attempt to Copy from Translation Ring

I have Logos 4.0a SR-2 and all seems to be up to date. When I display a translation ring from the Bible Word Study, then right-click and select Copy on one of the words in the ring, I cannot paste that word into the Word Study box to generate a new Word Study. This seems to be the case whether I am displaying an English, Greek, or Hebrew Translation

Well Damian... you are correct I have no doubt! Strange, I realized that about the graphic and PowerPoint, but still when I right-clicked over a specific word I just assumed it would copy the word. OK - I still wish it WOULD do that and then perhaps right-clicking over any non-word in a Translation Ring would produce the graphic save and PowerPoint

  • Re: Bug Present when I Attempt to Copy from Translation Ring

I was not asking how to display a new ring. But how to display a new word study with one of the Greek or Hebrew words. Yes, I watched the video. Actually, there are two videos if you count Morris Proctor's Bible Word Study video that describes the ring. And neither mention dragging any segment or word. You asked "What doesn't work" and I think I stated

  • Re: iPad or HP slate?

I sure am waiting for the HP. Being able to use Logos and READ MY BOOKS EVEN IF THERE IS NO INTERNET/WIFI/3G CONNECTION is ultra-important. Want to go to the country and research in your Logos books with an iPad? Have fun finding a signal. Someone here said HP uses planned obsolescence which has never been the case with ANY HP item I have owned. I had

  • Re: NASB Formatted Differently from Others?

Thanks to all of you! I'll move forward knowing it's not just some crazy setting I haven't properly set. I've used Logos for years but typically set my Bible views to 3-columns. In that mode, the NASB appears a little more "paragraphy." Now that I've returned to wanting one single, wider column the line-by-line NASB really stands out and got me concerned

  • NASB Formatted Differently from Others?

Hi, I'm surprised that I can only get the NASB to format in separate verses instead of flowing in paragraphs. Is it me or is it the only way to display the NASB? My other Bibles can display in a paragraph style. Bibles such as the KJV or NKJV will flow the way I want them to: I do know about the Logos 6's option, "One Verse Per Line," but that is unchecked

  • Re: I Bought 7, Upgraded to 7, the Help-About says 7, But NO 7 features appear!

Lynden, you are so correct and I was going to mention that in the video but... Two things: 1. Logos is the only company I do business with (okay, "Faithlife," but it'll always be Logos to me!) where I actually want to see ads for cool things I don't yet have. I like seeing the ads and I love getting emails for Pre-Pubs. (Don't get me started on Community
