Have you considered this: http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/INTROECCLAT

One doesn't have to be a JW or Christadelphian to question the traditional Christian line on the immortality of the soul. I'm a card-carrying evangelical and the NT data itself convinced me a long time ago that immortality is in fact a gift of God to the redeemed, not an inherent feature of every human being. All will, of course, be raised for judgment

One of the outstanding features of Logos, we all know, is its versatility. You can do most things, and often by several methods. I read the recent post where somebody was thrilled to learn he could set up Text Comparison to use Collections. The lesson we can all learn from this, perhaps, is that we should click anything and everything that may open

Clear as crystal at my end - and always has been. I'm pretty sure it's something on your machine that's causing the problem, Nicky. Hope you get to the bottom of it!

Not Logos resources, I'm afraid, but you will find a solid, Bible-honouring case for Old Earth views in The Selfless Gene by Charles Foster and in Creation Or Evolution: Do We Have To Choose? by Denis Alexander.

Same with the infographic on the Sea of Quail. There are several references there to 'miles' that could helpfully have had kilometre equivalents in brackets, and another to '3 feet', which for many users could have helpfully have carried 'almost 1 metre' in brackets. Here in the UK we still use miles, but for shorter measurements most people - and particularly

Thanks, Philip. I've emailed you...

I used to have an Excel spreadsheet of the contents of most of the theological journals available in Logos. It was named theological journals toc (vol 1-10)(2007).xlsm. Somehow it hs got wiped, probably when I changed computers. Can anyone tell me how to get hold of it, please? Or if there's another one with the same info that would be fine. Thanks

I used to have a couple of Libronix note files listing the contents of the Early Church Fathers volumes in Logos. The files were early church fathers toc.lbxnot and alpha church fathers.lbxnot. Both have been lost. Now that we can import Libronix notes into Logos4 I would like to be able to have them on my system again for reference. Does anyone know

Quite right, Dennis. They're also good for those of us who have been using Logos for a long time. The program has hidden depths...

I've bought several Logos items on CD/DVD over the years and never had to pay any duty. But a friend of mine, who bought a Logos base package on my recommendation, got stung with quite a substantial extra amount to pay. My experience suggests that the majority of packages get delivered without import duty being charged. It seems that the customs people

I'm looking at the Beatitudes, focusing at present on the first one, and want to see how different Bibles render it. I'm familiar with F7 and the associated Text Comparison tool, which currently has five of my most frequently-used Bible versions in the box. But is there a way of quickly showing, side by side, Matthew 5:3 in all the Bibles I possess

A valuable service - thanks a lot!

What's LCV, please?

Yes, I am indeed using the 4.2 beta release. Sorry, folks, for any confusion caused, and thanks, Graham, for drawing this to my attention. I assumed wrongly that the nice page view I referred to had sneaked into Logos earlier than this. For those of you not on the beta, it's a very nice feature and one worth waiting for.

Print copies of the new NIV will be available, I understand, from March 2011. As to its appearance in Logos - your guess is as good as mine. The sooner the better!

Christmas is coming. Several friends are asking what I'd like. I'd like a few Logos credits that I can combine to buy the books of my choice. How should I recommend them to go about it? I'm in the UK, so does it require a transatlantic phone-call? I can't find anything on the website about gift certificates or the like.

This commentary on the book of Revelation would be a good additions to the Logos library. It would help bring some balance to a field where the dispensationalist view tends to predominate.

I have noticed that when I do F11 on my laptop - which has the old squarer screen rather than the widescreen I enjoy on my desktop machine - Logos arranges the book in three columns, not four as on the other. So this is a screen-sensitve feature geared to maximum readability. Great!

Yes, the latest update (today) has solved the problem, giving the option, when I right-click any volume in the series, to 'Prioritze this series'. Thanks, everyone.
