• Text to Speach

Logos needs to add text to speech capabilities to their iPhone app. I use it on my iPhone with a competing product and it is really nice. I would love to have it with my logos library. http://www.acapela-for-iphone.com/

  • Re: Responding to Full-Preterist - Any Logos Resource Recommendations?

I would read the Full Preterist material. I think it is best to fully understand a position before you try to argue against it. I have found that a lot of anti-preterist material that I have read doesn’t have a really good grasp on the full-preterist postion.

  • Requested Features

I would really like the following features on the iPhone. 1) A shortlist of current books that I can manage. This would allow me to quickly access the books I am currently working with. This list wouldn't necessarily be the recently accessed book list since I often open lots of resources when I am studying something spcific. This feature would be similar
Understand this work started in the 30's and it is the Gottigen, being the committee being based in Gottigen, Germany. This is a scholarly tool. This isn't for the first or second year Greek student, unless he is pre-buying for future study.
For $300, why wouldn't a second year Greek student want it? I'm no Greek

  • Re: Göttingen Septuagint (65 Vols.)
The Göttingen text is the next generation Septuagint. If you look at new scholarship on the Septuagint (including the NETS translation), work generally follows Göttingen where it is available, and then Rahlfs for those books where Göttingen is incomplete. So I don't really understand the notion that Göttingen is only

What am I missing?
Nicky, I really like BDAG because it doesn't just give you a words definition, but it shows you how a word is used in other 'Early

  • Re: WHY are you doing this to us????
I'm writing this from the perspective of one who has one of the larger Logos libraries, 5813 resources in L4 and 8960 in L3. In an attempt to build a comprehensive reference library I have spent over $20,000 over the past 10 or so years, none of which I regret. However, no one in their right mind can surely think that anyone
I hope to be able to afford this someday. But Logos has offered this at $399 before and it has not been that long ago. So even if I had the cash, it is kinda hard to get excited about $499. Jerry
I picked it up last year for $399. I use it all the time. It may not be the "best" commentary set but it was well worth

  • Logos book not the same as printed version

I'm trying to access the Preface and Appendix in the following book but can't seem to find it in the Logos version. Shouldn't the logos version be the same as the printed addition? The New Testament in the Original Greek: Byzantine Textform 2005 with Morphology Authors: Robinson, Maurice A. ; Pierpont, William G. Publisher: Logos Research Systems, Inc

  • Re: Best Greek Grammar for a new Greek student

Mounce is the best for self study since you can get a workbook, answer key and the lectures (now available in video format) to go along with the text. It worked for me anyways.

  • NETS

Is there any reason my Logos doesn't offer the New English Translation of the Septuagint (NETS)? I just notice Olivetree has it, which seems odd to me. I would have thought Logos would have it first. I would rather add it to my Logos Library.

Just getting this back on the radar to remind everyone about what a great price this is. It has been sitting at the same place for a bit now. If anyone else is interested please sign up and lets get it going.
OK, I hadn't ordered this because I don't know Greek. But I might learn it someday (I really would like to) and I might kick myself for not having ordered this when I could. So I'm in. It's very close! And my order seemed to make a perceptible difference. I bet the production cost on this one is fairly low because it's being
Sometimes the product page says it is ready for the Iphone but it is not yet. A good example is the IVP Dictionary of the Old Testament collection. The product page says it is ready. I bought it as a pre-pub last Dec. It was released last Tuesday and the product page said it was available for Iphone on the day of it's release
