I was using L5 Passage Guide for 1Samuel 2. Under Biblical People, I clicked on "Eli" The program switched to Bible Facts, and initially showed Eli material, but suddenly jumped to Elijah. It has repeated this oddity every time.
Just downloaded Updated Databases and my Passage Guide for 1 Sam 2 and Biblical People

I have Crossgrade Fever. Mark, your video sold me!
-
Hi Sean! Look forward to meeting you sometime.
-
Thanks Mark for the links! I'm a little confused as the upgrade chart only shows that I would be getting nine of the data sets. The product page says the the minimum crossgrade include all of the data sets.
-
I couldn't find it at first. You need to go all the way to the left in the package comparison chart. Maybe someone could help me better understand what data sets the minimum crossgrade does and does not include. I see the chart but not sure I understand what the crossgrade is giving me exactly.

I love Danish letters! My favorite Danish bakery is the one in Pella, Iowa!

Any idea on how the update calculator works? Why does it show so many books New To Me but not part of Logos 5? Just trying to figure out how all this works. Thanks for the help.

I've had the same problem. This has been very frustrating and time consuming. It made my Logos4 unusable, I couldn't even do a search. Thanks Richard for such clear instructions. I'm back up and working again. I had to implement step 6 and 7 to get it to finally recognize the books I had deleted.

Any who has the 12 volume set want to comment on the usefulness of the this set. I have read up on it and am intrigued. I would appreciate input to help me decide if this is something I want to purchase. I am a novice when it comes to early church history. But I'm interested.

WBC Volume 17 only goes through chapter 20. Volume 18A covers 21-37. I think this is the source of your problem.

My only regret is that I wish I had done it years ago! Camp Logos gave me a solid foundation to build from, learning how the software works. It helped me set up my collections, layouts, and notes/clippings in favorites which have been a huge help. Like the others, I have been to a lot of training seminars. Camp Logos met and even exceeded my expectations
Can he log into Logos and find his purchase under his account history? If he can, I'd check his login on Logos 4 and his security settings.Trying to add some free resources could help verify the security settings.
This begins to isolate the problem. When he logs into Logos he has an account but no Libronix ID and it shows

Yesterday my son purchased and downloaded Logos 4 Scholar version. The program installed, he can open it, but he has no resources or books. It's been 36 hours. No resources downloaded, thus they didn't even index. He plans to call CS on Monday morning. Any ideas what the problem might be.

Next week my wife and I are traveling to Colorado to spend time with our son and daughter in law. My son teaches at a Torchbearers one-year Bible school in beautiful Colorado. He just got the Scholars Library edition and I'm going to be teaching him how to use the software while we are there. Should be a lot of fun! And of course we will do some hiking

As I sat at the Morris Proctor training seminar last month, seeing the power of the L4 electronic library, I whispered to one of my co-workers, "There's no excuse for being stupid anymore!" We are only limited by our imagination and the amount of time we are willing to invest. Even the cost of resources isn't a true limitation, as we all probably all

Thanks for your feedback. I have left my comments/vote on User Voice. Kim

I have searched around on the forum and I can't find an answer to this question. So I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before and I just missed it. When I opened up Logos today it told me I had resources to download. I didn't order anything and am wondering what it is downloading. Is this an update? My question then: Is there a way to
The risk Kim, is a concern because you are going to be playing on the inside of one of the files that Logos uses to run. Doing something wrong could result in instability (crashes) or at absolute worse case scenario the need to uninstall and reinstall Logos. The latter may not be likely but the former is. After reading this post I'm interested in setting up the Horner reading plan. I went to the Wicki and read it and still can't figure it out. Can anyone help me set this up? Also, what is the risk running this plan. The Wicki tells you to run it at your own risk. Does this interfere with L4? Thanks for your help.

Being relatively new to Logos, could you please explain the "upgrade" explanation? If I purchased a commentary set from Logos, do I then get a special upgrade price if/when new books are added to it? How does that work? Thanks.
