I believe hyper-calvinism is an abomination and that it's parameters equate to a puppet show. I believe salvation is a monergistic experience, not synergistic, since God is calling all (invitation). I believe that a person has to be born again (regenerated) to be saved and to be spiritual. I believe that it is divisive to argue 5 points of calvinism

Thanks Todd!! You solved my Philo problem. BTW, my Philo version is Greek with morphology, but no English translation. I just figured out the apocrypha problem. I went to keylinking and chose bible. I had about 5 or 6 resources there, but no bible with an apocrypha there. Also, the list under the list, I had everything unchecked. All I did is promote

O.K.....I have sold everything and purchased BDAG. Now I need help!!!!!! Can anyone help me figure out why hovering over Philo and anything from the apocrypha does not pop up in an information window? If I click on Philo, Philo will open on a new page. Anything from the apocrypha gives me a message when I click at the bottom right....search library

  • Re: Works of Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Yes I have read "Hard to Believe". I have read a lot of John MacArthur. I just couldn't remember his comment, so I opened his book and did a basic search...great tool!!! BTW, my last name does NOT end in M, but I from Mississippi ("M").

  • Re: Works of Dietrich Bonhoeffer

MacArthur quoted Bonhoeffer in "The Gospel According to the Appostles" under the chapter "Cheap Grace". MacArthur's position is a lordship position which is hard for me to explain. John MacArthur's explains lordship......... What Is “ Lordship Salvation ” All About? The gospel call to faith presupposes that sinners must repent of their sin and yield

"The Cost of Discpleship" would be a good electronic book. I imagine that book would be along the line of John MacArthur's "The Gospel According to Jesus" and "The Gospel According to the Appostles". I'm assuming Bonhoeffer's position is lordship salvation, based on him being quoted in John MacArthur's books.

Im seriously considering the purchase of BDAG. Even though you state that it is flawed in terms of part of speech information bible searches, is this lexicon worth the "bang for the buck"? I am straddling the fence and finding it hard to make a decision with regard to this purchase. I will say that I have Leaders library and I have added ANLEX, L&N

After several hours of messing with pbbs, I have got them working. It is definitely strange. I decided to go back to internet explorer for my browser. I then went to this link and installed the pbb updater. I can click on a resource there...there was over 800...and I pick some and hit the download button. Open and close libronix......Sometimes I find

I'm still having problems with pbbs. I got some to work, but others are not in the library. I have done multiple downloads, writing one over another and I have opened and closed Libronix many, many times to no avail. I don't know why some would load and others just seem to be somewhere??? I am running windows xp, but I recently ditched internet explorer

  • Re: NASB Interlinear

My church uses the NKJV and I find that the NKJV is just too wordy. I use a 77 NASB (print version) and as of lately I use an ESV. I have to say from the English standpoint I believe both are the best as far as readability in the English language. Some of us on here use Greek tools, but are weak in Greek. With that said, it is interesting that high

This is driving me nuts. I went to still truth website and linked back to Logos to only find out I hvw the pbb key. I did a test by downloading Arthur Pinks "Sermon on the Mount". The book is not in my library under name, topic, etc. I tried downloading to Resources under the libronix dls file. Also I have a libronix resource folder not in the dls section

  • Please Share a Resource Association or Workspace

I have tried setting up different workspaces for different things and I have learned some things from trial and error as well as videos and Morris Proctor's tips. I would like to ask or encourage Logos users to share their favorite Logos workspace and how they chose the association to go along with the workspace. For Example: I like to have a commentary

  • Re: If a Pre-Pub has gone "live" must we wait until we get email notification?

Yes.....WAIT!!! I had a pre-pub once go live and I downloaded it and the price charged to my credit card was the new price and not the one I signed up for. The result sent my CC over the limit, which added another fee. I contacted Logos and got a letter from them and had them remove the difference from CC. It took 3 months for my CC to be adjusted for

I like the idea of a resource reading planner. If it's possible, I say do it. If it's not possible, well I didn't have it before and can say I won't miss it.

Even though I posed a question about upgrade fees, I will say that I have spent at least $400 more on different Logos material. I'm just saying I'm committed at this point with $700-$800 invested. I enjoy Logos and can accept the answer of administrative cost. Almost daily I check for upgrades and subscribe to Morris Proctor's monthly newsletter. In
