  • Re: I-Pad

John, it sounds a bit like you have not researched the iPad/iPod system enough to be ready to purchase. I have both and find that as a reader the iPad is terrific. The iPod is too small to comfortably read for any length of time. When I am reading a book cover to cover I use the iPAD. If I need to take notes or want to highlight the current version

  • Re: Logos for MAC or PC

Sadly, in the IT industry we have fallen into the old paradigm of religious wars. And those on both sides can have valid justifications for their dogma about exactly how many angels can dance on the head of - excuse me which OS is "superior". The short answer will always be - it depends. If you want to run Final Cut Pro on your machine to format movies

  • Re: Version 2.0

Bob Thanks for this preview. I would like to ask you if there are plans to create a new type of note file, one specifically tied to a book. As this application is going to work it would be troublesome to import all of my note files when I would only be using those specific to the individual book I am reading. You could then attach the highlight info

  • Re: BUG: Cannot enter search range in bible search (4.0a SR-4)

This is fixed in SR-5, with one tiny little observation. When I first tried it I had dragged the app from one monitor to another during startup. As I tried to open the drop down lists they opened on the original monitor rather than where the app was currently located. Moving the app window again fixed the condition. It is probably not worth a bug report

Now it hangs the program. All I need to do is change from bible to morph search and it hangs. This is getting old fast. 631805.Archive.zip

  • BUG: Cannot enter search range in bible search (4.0a SR-4)

I just discovered that the latest upgrade (4.0a SR-4 (4.10.4.6968) won't allow me to enter a search range in the Bible search page. The click is ignored completely. The failure exists on two different MACs (MBP and iMAC) The problem does not affect the Windows version (4.1SR-4 (4.10.4. 6514))

It will not be able to handle much processing workload. Do

So if you really want colour, paste your note into Word, apply the colouring, then

Just a quick caution. When I tried the technique, my copy never ran quite correct. I had to wipe it and go through the whole routine to get a working version. The installation I copied from ran perfectly but the copy never worked right. YOu might save some time, you might wind up wasting some.

  • Re: Version 2.0

The only feature that I really miss is the ability to store a favorite while off the net. It makes reading a lot more difficult if the app cannot remember a place. Notes would be nice, but ONLY if they are accessible (for read and write) when the unit is off the net. If they are online use only - then they would be worthless to me.

  • Re: Mobile Favorites not working properly

It is likely that there is a word or two of the previous verse on the page. Using the GW as the text, I get the same symptom with John 10:16 and Nehemiah 13:1 but not John 10:19 since it aligns to the top of the page. What is bookmarked is not the verse as such but the location of the top of the page.

  • Re: Can we create links from one resource to another?

This response is probably more aimed at LOGOS staff than readers, but I wonder if LOGOS couldn't allow one to insert a marker(or two) (like a note or something) into two documents and then align the marks while scrolling. This technique would allow one to match locations in any two arbitrary documents (or even within one document). There are times where

  • Re: How do I locate pisteuo in the imperative?

Graham Thanks for the reply. Is it really possible for a verb to have two moods? I thought it had to be one at a time. Is the problem that the search found a tag I didn't specify or that the results posted the line twice?

I am not sure what to make of this result, but when I tried the link on the MAC (4.0a 6199) it gave doubled results for Mt 9:28 and two doubled results for Jn 14:11? It looks like a bug but I could be missing something.

  • BUG: Cannot save favorites when off network

I am not sure if this is really a bug but this morning I found that in reading an offline book (Leading with Integrity - F Smith) on my iPad I could not save new favorites (bookmarks). The app simply rejected them. Another symptom was that I could advance page by page through the book but could not use the scrub widget at the top of the window, It kept
