• Re: Sync problems with 4.0b

I have parallels (V 5.0.9344) set up to use 2 processors (which I think means four threads) and 2 GB of Ram. Options set "Tune Windows for speed" and the Video card has 256MB of ram). It is running Win XP home edition Version 2002 SP3. On a lighter note, a copy on a netbook runs fine (if VERY slow, it's OK for reading a book but not much else), it does

  • Sync problems with 4.0b

It's getting pretty difficult with my two copies of LOGOS. Both use Win XP running on parallels on MACS (a macbook pro running OSX 10.3 and an iMac running OSX 10.6). Both version have network access, both recently upgraded to 4.0b (4.02.3.8750) so access to the internet is not the problem. Both can get updates. Both copies have "use internet" turned

My bad. I used Revelations rather than revelation. That was the problem. Thanks for the answer and the guide.

  • Problem defining a custom search range

I am running LOGOS 4.0b SR-1 (4.02.3.7704). When I try to define a custom search range the text and title boxes accept text but the save button remains greyed-out so I cannot save the range (and therefore cannot use it). I could not find the issue in the bug list nor in the forums. Is there something that I am missing about search range definition?

  • Re: setting Bookmarks

My problem (which I have reported as a bug) is that copies of 4.0a will update bookmarks when you sync but 4.0b will not. I have observed this event. THe last computer to change versions would sync (down at least) with the other computers until it was updates. Now it does not seen to sync bookmarks nor highlighting. THe other weird part is that two
Wish it would show all note files or at least show the last 5 or so and also give the option to create a new one.
In my case, by the time I finished looking through note files from previous studies, other books, sermon notes, etc, I am glad to have a simple mechanism to select the note files that I might want to use

  • Re: Two Questions...

I have to agree that there is little, if any, point in maintaining V3 and no point at all in going to 1.2.2 on the MAC. It appears that for now, if you are doing serious work use XP Pro (or your favorite flavor of Windows) under parallels. I use Parallels 3 on my MBP (old cor duo processor) and Parallels 5 on my iMac (i7 quad core). Both work fine,

  • Text compare, how to compare all bibles.

My bible study has come to James 4:5 with its famous translation difficulties. I would like to compare this verse in all of my bibles. Text compare only does 5. Is there another tool that I am missing???

The version (now) is 4.0aSR-2 (4.0.3.4767) After a round of sync now/update now after the crash, it seems to have gone away. I haven't had it crash since I posted the log. The last time the crash happened while I was away from the computer with a book and the highlight control open in floating windows. I think that the actual steps to reproduce were

Here is the first log I got. [View: http://community.logos.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/76/7220.Logos4.log.zip:550:0] It looks like the problem is related to updating rather than viewing.

  • LOGOS 4aSR2 crashes while reading a book.

This has happened twice. While I was reading "Mastering Pastoral Counseling" in a floating window with the highlighter panel also in a floating window. No warning or message, windows simply crashed - not just logos but windows XP as well. I run on an iMAC i7 27" using Parallels 5.0 and Windows XP/ SP3. I am not sure at this point if it is the floating

I would have to say that I study to come into fellowship. Fellowship with other Christians and through them with God, as well as directly with God. As I age, it seems as if my brain doesn't work as well as it used to, (I don't remember how well it worked, but then that is part of the problem). I can remember the contents of the verse but just not where

  • Can I add other highlighting styles to the menu in LOGOS 4

There are quite a few styles there, I admit. I would, however like to add others, such as blue wavy underline as an analog to blue highlight. Is there a way to customize the list or are they all hard coded into the app?
