Thanks.

Thanks. I think version 4 is great by the way. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it, but to mention just one, I especially like the fact that you can report typos with just two clicks of the mouse. (The only bug I've noticed so far is that when I go into reading mode the notification to "Press F11 to exit reading mode" stays on the center

Question: Is there some way that we can find what exactly is being updated or added? For example, when I opened Logos 4 this morning it said it was downloading an update, which apparently contained new resources. But I have no idea what resources were added. Is there an update log? (I still think this is a great product and much better than versions

P.S. None of the resources that showed a return in v.3 are missing in v.4.
-
Thanks. However, all the hits in v3 did return what I was looking for: a comment on the textual variant of Goliath's height. So I didn't see them as false hints and it was useful in at least one instance for me to know that the ESV had that information in one of its notes.
-
Well I suppose that depends on how you see the virtual footnote as existing within the text...

I'm trying to do an exact search or a search without stemming but can't get it to work in Logos 4. In v. 3 I know that you would just do nostem() or exact(); but apparently that doesn't work in v.4 and I have tried exact:word and also using quotation marks as well as the "ANDNOT" syntax. So, how does one go about performing a search on a word without

Thank you.

By the way, the name of the journal article is supposed to be underlined or italicized, the volume number and issue are not. I tried to format it that way in the post, but the forums erased my formatting (I blame Logos 4).

Everything seems to work fine aside from two things (so far): 1. Some of my note files were unnamed, although the information in them was not effected. For example, I had a note file called "Reymond's Systematic Theology," which had notes I've taken and linked to that theology, the file (along with several others) was retitled "Untitled notes," but

I have it, I definitely think it's worth it. It is one of the resources (or collection of resources) that I use the most, but then I'm not a preacher or studying to be one or anything so my use of logos may be a bit different than other logos users here. I don't know how well it is updated. I have never really paid attention to that to be honest. The

Personally, I fail to see how most of the "criticisms" present a "valid argument." They seem to simply be issues of personal preference rather than actual flaws in design. For instance, the computer I'm currently using isn't a touch screen, but, now that I think about it, it would be great if it were a touch screen. so do I now have a valid argument

I would also love to see a collection of Ravi Zacharias's works. I would also love to see a collection of Alvin Plantinga's works... as well as Craig... as well as the Faith and Philosophy Journals...

I had this same problem, but someone here helped me out with it. Click on the magnifier glass icon and uncheck "Match all word forms"

I would also like to see the works of Lewis on Logos.
John is right. The family has circled the wagons around the don's intellectual property. It's understandable, and it's their prerogative and right, but you have to think Clive Stapes himself wouldn't be so comfortable with the legacy of his influence being leveraged completely

It would be nice to have the MLA format fixed for journal citations (it is fine in monograph citations). Currently, the MLA for journals is this: Ashland Theological Seminary. Ashland Theological Journal Volume 1. Ashland Theological Seminary, 1968; 2007. This isn't correct MLA for journal articles. I know that it might not be feasible for the system

I'm not sure what you're point is. Is that an argument for just price theory? If so, how? Can you spell it out?
“You wasted your time posting this since I'm not going to read it. I don't waste my time with idiocy.”
Well I certainly hope you don’t treat every opinion that differs from your own as idiocy. I mean, if you feel justified in such an attitude, then couldn’t I just refer to your own position as idiocy? In fact, I

Reading a white text with a black background is much easier on my eyes. In Logos 3, you could accomplish this "accidentally" by dragging the mouse over the text. However, when you do this in version 4 the text stays black and the background is shifted to blue. What would really be nice is a feature like the one on the iPod T/iPhone Kindle: you can choose

I'm not sure, but I would check the Logos on your PC/Mac and see what the reading plan says there.
