I've personally found C. Peter Wagner's materials on spiritual gifts to be especially thorough and beneficial. https://www.logos.com/product/49941/your-spiritual-gifts-can-help-your-church-grow https://www.logos.com/product/49932/discover-your-spiritual-gifts https://www.logos.com/product/49933/finding-your-spiritual-gifts
Question: If one buys the 2nd edition, does it overwrite the 1st edition or does the Logos library now contain both editions?
One thing I've done is to edit the title to help distinguish between the editions so when it shows up in the passage guide, I can see at a glance which edition I'm selecting. (My brain

Looks like the collection has now been split up, but I still, for the life of me, can't figure out what's different about Obadiah. I'm a bit confused on the Obadiah volume. I own the ZECOT Obadiah by Block (which I assume is the 1st edition), but it's dated 2015. 3 years seems like a short amount of time for a new edition. I also can't find anything else on amazon or zondervan's website about this 2nd edition. Am I missing something?

  • Re: Too Many resources released the week before Christmas!

Anthony, I thought I had found a "workaround" with the payment plans by using the Logos book cache program ( https://www.logos.com/book-cache ). I was using it as a sort of "pre-payment plan" since you can use the amount you cache for pre-pubs. However, Logos 8 came and there were some great Black Friday deals that just obliterated my balance. Normally

Hi John, I had noticed this too with both the Pillar NTC Timothy, Titus and Christianity Today 1956-2016 also being released in the next few days. For me this means not being able to buy a commentary set that is on discount this month through the Christmas specials. I think it would be nice if Logos could put some sort of estimated completion date or

  • Re: Daily Homepage Deal - a plea

I second this request. It's been hard for me to find anything on Logos website as the Logos 8 upgrade offers seem to dominate. If it wasn't for those in the forums posting links to things like Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, I would have never seen them or known how to access them because Logos 8 upgrade offers are the only thing I see on the Logos

  • Re: Introducing the New Logos Notes
If you use mobile devices - then upgrading to Logos 8 will, by default, cause the L8 mobile apps to be installed and these only use the new system. So that could be another reason to hold back on the switch
Good point. I hadn't thought of this. I just checked the app store for my iPhone and it is telling me to

  • Re: Introducing the New Logos Notes

Hi Graham, Thank you for reminding me about that. I remember having read that somewhere earlier (so many forums and websites ) but if I recall correctly there was a warning. Something about using one system and then using another could have adverse effects on the notes or something like that. I have thousands of notes and am a bit paranoid about doing

Phil, in another post (can't find it now) you had asked about wanting to know what's important to us. For what it's worth. I can't see myself upgrading to Logos 8 until these issues are resolved: Integration of notebooks in Your Documents search section in Everything search Integration of notebooks in My Content section of guides Copy Paste from resources

Hey All, I don't yet have L8 (still flipping couch cushions looking for extra money) so please forgive this basic question, but I just wanted to verify that when I ultimately do upgrade to L8, that I will NOT lose what L7 called "My Passage Guide." Specifically, that (heavily) edited guide template that I created with sections that I found valuable
Just to confirm. We are aware of this issue and I'll see about adding it to the FAQ.
Thank you for letting us know Alan. It’s reassuring to know this hasn’t been forgotten among all the other things on the notes “to-do list.“ I appreciate it.

  • Re: Notes

Oops, nevermind. I found this: If you have lots of unnecessary notebooks that you want to get rid of (especially if you used per-resource note documents for your highlights), don’t delete the notebook. Currently, deleting a notebook also deletes all of its notes. In the future, we plan to have an option that deletes a notebook without deleting
