• Re: How to search across Logos, Verbum, Noet and Faithlife eBooks

Thank you Mark, this is very helpful. This has long been a pet peeve of mine. I admit I don't understand the ins and outs of web based commerce, but it boggles my mind that a company would make a customer search through multiple websites just to see if they offer a product. I know there is history as to why they have multiple sites, but I don't understand

  • Re: Best Logos Tip?

Another tip is in the command box at the top (next to "Tools") type in the phrase Facilitate Serendipitous Discovery This will open up your library to a random place. You may end up in the middle of a Latin Bible or in the middle of a fascinating article on Biblical Archaeology or anything else. Not necessarily useful for a research project, but it

  • Re: Recommendations for resources about church history?

While the Oxford History you mentioned is probably a bit more comprehensive due to its 16 volumes, I have personally really enjoyed and benefited from the Zondervan Church History Volumes 1 and 2. They are scholarly and thorough without being overwhelming in my opinion. https://www.logos.com/product/26729/church-history-vol-1-from-christ-to-pre-reformation
Whoa!! The quality on this is horrendous! I understand Vyrso is a largely automated production process when it comes to tagging, but this volume is horrible. Entire paragraphs with zero relevance to a passage of Scripture are tagged as a Scripture passage. Where is the quality control guys? The fact that you decided to publish

  • Re: Revelation commentaries for the layman from different view points

I would recommend you checking out Revelation: Four Views by Steve Gregg. https://www.logos.com/product/2271/revelation-four-views I have it and think it is exactly what you were looking for as it goes passage by passage and explains each of the different views and how they interpret iit.
To save extracts of books you are reading for future reference use clippings - one of the benefits of using clippings over notes here is that the clipping contains full bibliographical information in an easily accessible form
Just to add to Graham's excellent post, if I remember correctly (it's been awhile), from

  • Re: Can I trust the citation style?

If you happen to use any Faithlife ebooks (as opposed to resources purchased through the Logos.com site) I would highly recommend checking each citation. Many (most?) of the Faithlife ebooks don't have page numbers or are missing other bibliographic data. Depending on your citation style, you will need to fill in/adjust the missing information (c.f
Keller's other two evangelistic books are also both excellent, but probably not what you're looking for. The Reason for God considers the truth claims of Christianity, while Jesus the King (also called King's Cross ) goes through Mark's gospel, and is really helpful for people who believe the gospels are true but haven't really
