• Can't merge indexes...

As has been my habit since I started with L4 and I continue to get prepubs and other resources, I will merge indexes over night after I recieve one or more new resources. I have a couple points: 1. Is there a way to do this as a command, or menu selection? the only way I can do it right now is to search for something, then select the link to merge indexes
Lets do both. Cloud and client. Let the customer choose which way they want to go.
exactly. having both as an option would be great. those who are "concerend" about their privacy, can choose to not use the online/web version. simple.

  • Re: missing resources... AGAIN.

okay, did the winmerges and there was just too much information to be helpfull. I guess I will just have to be satisfied that one system has 35 less resources than the other with L4. And that as with the 1>2 and the 2>3 upgrades, I am losing resources again. If I were more OCD, I would know exactly what's in my library. but I am not; so I guess it's

i wanted to rebuld my desktop with a new OS install (64bit), but now am hesitating because of all this. hardware is cheep, comparitively speaking. it's the software/licenses/resources that I am concerned with. and it appears that aside from functionality differences, the resource issue is holding me back, currently.

painstaking inspection. yep, that's what's happening. okay, well not actually painfull, but it is timeconsuming, and don't even know if it will help.

running winmerge compare: laptop L4 (new install) resources to desktop L3 resource folder (shared it on my home lan temproarily). Winmerge Total Items 9576 (still running) Desktop L4 ("upgrade") resources to local L3 resources folder. Winmerge total items 8319 (also still running). and thanks Dan. I understand, but the differences are still frustrating
