This is my assumption based on the conversation I had with someone. I quoted Origen and they claimed he was a heretic and they don't accept him. He is a church father so I just assumed each church picked and chose what they accepted. Basically what I am trying to do is graph accepted documents, teachings, creeds, confessions
Can we compare the traditions of which Fathers are accepted by what group with logos? Kinda like comparing canon?
Don't forget that historically Protestants see the Church Fathers as being authoritative as well, Calvin's famous quote that "Augustine is totally ours" is especially well known. Of course it does help

However, much depends on the possible universes God could create that would maximize the number of WLC volumes published, which is further bounded by the counterfactuals of the creaturely freedom of publishers outside
I'm wondering if someone who bought this could let us know if it is indeed the 2012 text (as stated on the product page) or if they included the corrections from subsequent printings. Could you have a look at the (c) info. I have heard of at least 2015 and 2016 corrected printings. Thanks, Tom
It reads: Great Clarendon

  • Re: Authorized - New on Faithlife TV!

I enjoyed it but I do not understand who you can seriously approach the subject without at least addressing textual criticism which underpins many of the translation issues. The film did not really address what many people see as the central issue.

Will the list of Classics stay the same? Did I receive new books on January 1? How does this affect FL Connect Essentials
Hello Everyone, Thank you for reaching out. We would like to clarify that you are not losing anything from your benefits of Faithlife Connect. As of March 1st, we are adding in new libraries (resources and books) all included in your subscription without you having to redeem anything. As we evaluated the titles

  • Re: Does This Mean We Are Losing Our Free Original Starting March 1, 2019?

The problem that I have is that I own literally all the classics to choose from (part from some Spanish and Russian titles), so it is useless to me. Presumably they cannot make this change during the annual subscription period where you have paid in advance for the benefit without the choice of a pro-rata refund?

A problem here is that copyright protection varies by territory, and without extensive research the actual legal status of individual works can be hard to establish and can sometimes be in doubt.

The academic sermons is worth buying first if you are thinking of buying “The Doctors of the Church” collection, as buying the single volume for 8.99 dropped the already sale discounted collection that contains it by around 13.50. https://www.logos.com/product/168021/the-doctors-of-the-church
