In my mind the biggest development in Logos 4 was the whole "cloud" concept, which is one of the reasons it has been so unpopuler, it is a massive shakeup of how things work. I did not originally like the concept but with the drive towards mobile platforms I now see the point, you have to have a cloud architecture in order to realise the mobile vision

Many thanks, I really appreciate the time you have taken to help me out here. My problem was that I was dragging and dropping the resource when as you have suggested I needed to right click and select the resource. Like most things with Logos it is obvious once you know how. The irony is that I think that I now prefer the 1769 resource, it may not have

I really wish that Logos would pay attention to tagging IOS support appropriatly, it is such an important element in deciding whether to purchase or not and more often than not the product description tagging is slapdash. It also makes me wonder how committed Logos is to mobile support.

The price may be substantial but http://www.logos.com/product/9619/the-collected-writings-of-john-nelson-darby Looks really interesting. I may be finally able to get rid of my printed copies which are great, but it is very impractical to find relevant sections in the paper copies.

When you go to the contents pages of Vol 3 of The Works of William Bates the hyperlinking is all wrong i.e. the Chapter 8 heading hperlinks to chapter ten (both when you do a mouseover and when you click), this is true for the majority of entries (after the first few) in the contents pages (i.e. just after the title page)
I was informed today that my bid for a whopping 30.00 was not successful. Does this mean then that I cannot receive the offer for the final bid of 50.00 if indeed it comes in at this. I was told the following in an e-mail I just received --- "The final community price for this product is $50.00. You can still place a Pre-Pub
Placed $50. I would never pay a higher price of 19th century Revelation commentaries. It is already far outdated
While I do understand the point being made I do think that it is a strange concept to see a commentary as being outdated, less fashionable maybe but it is often useful to see what other generations thought
Like many of the other Theologians of the Radical Reformation, their names are well know to all true Historian and Theologians... Yet strangly missing in LOGOS.
Without rising to the bait of having you label everybody who who does not have a detailed knowledge of every sixteenth century eccentric as not being a

My own guilty secret is that I would buy it.

Many thanks, I have the Lightfoot edition, goodness knows how or when but it is in my collection.

Good spot on the "more" button, you learn a new thing every day. On checking my library I have all three versions and the Holmes version is not listed as being part of any base package and is not on my order list. Something odd (in a good way) is going on here. The Holmes translation is superb and a real find for me. This is a really interesting document
-
I have checked and can confirm that Holmes was lost in the change from LE to KF.
Hi Mike Not "readily available", but the Didache will be included in my upcoming Apostolic Fathers Interlinear: http://bit.ly/ApFthInt I'm on the home stretch (around 35 chapters of Hermas left).
Like all right minded people I have it on pre-order. Many thanks for all the work that you are doing in this

I have never really understood the need to have study Bibles ported to Logos, the genre is useful in printed form but with the ability to link to commentaries of whatever depth you feel like I do not understand the need for study bible notes in Logos unless you are very commentary light.
-
To be honest I do not think that Logos particularly care about non biblical resource tagging, which really undermines the whole point of building up a purely Logos library. We are told that old resources will be brought up to date by existing tagging being updated but even new resources are often barely tagged. I was looking through Butler's "The Lives

But is sync to desktop implemented?
-
Is it just me or have Logos failed to update products as they leave Pre-pub for the past week or so, it is all very confusing and not super impressive. On a similiar note I do find it slightly worying that Evangelical Exegetical Commentary pages still lists the Ezra volume as having an estimated publication date, given the upfront investment that we

Protestants have no problem in respecting the authority of the early Church Councils anyway, it will be great to have access to this resource.
In case any are still interested, and I'm guessing not many are from the progress so far :) Logos have just added the 8 extra volumes mentioned above to the John Nelson Darby collection on Pre-Pub. http://www.logos.com/product/9619/the-collected-writings-of-john-nelson-darby
Many thanks for this. I have always wanted

I think that it soaked up most of its interest just getting to 100%, if you rememebr Barnes took an age to creep the final 10% but when it hit 100% the price did not drop at all as not many new folk jumped on the price. I would like to be proved wrong but this one may stick at $30, which after all is a bargain as these books look incredibly valuable
